Crack a smile in denial

Peace isn’t a permanent state. It exists in moments. Fleeting. Gone before we knew it was there. We can experience it at any time, in a stranger’s act of kindness, a task that requires complete focus or simply the comfort of an old routine. Everyday we all experience these moments of peace. The trick is to know when they’re happening so that we can embrace them, live in them. And finally let them go.

Life more terrifying and more exciting than I ever could have imagined. I know what it means to be so fucking happy that I can’t stop smiling. I know what it means to feel safe and belong somewhere other than a treatment center. I literally cannot describe these things to you. But please believe me that they are real. There is a world out here and it is open to you. I don’t care how long you’ve been sick or how sick you’ve been. Life is bigger and scarier and more exquisite than you could ever imagine slogging through hours on the elliptical or cutting your steamed broccoli into 50,000 pieces. The only way to find out is to try.

I'm losing

I cant control my ed it's hungry and it's eaten regular correct meals all day but it wants to be in control i knows where home and this is its playground but i dont want to play along and it doesn't like that it doesn't like me taking charge being strong so it's fighting and im getting weak and it's gaining back all its control
