So we hung a pride flag at my high school

So we hung a pride flag at my high school, for the first week of June and a bunch of my friends went to go the raising of the flag. Naturally, we got photos in front of the flag and the school posted that on their website. It was taken down within the hour over the concern “that the students in the photo would receive negative backlash if the photo was seen by other students”.

So basically, my school acknowledges the homophobia, but literally does nothing to stop it except take down the flag early and delete our ONE photo that we had.
