Story

March 4, 1331.

Chibi woke up with a start, as today she would be old enough to test with her professor, Karujo. She always liked Karujo, as he was funny and let her sleep in his bed with him.. chibi looked over at the other side of the bed, Karujo wasn’t there. ‘Must be in the lab already..’ chibi thought to herself as she got up to make tea. Soon after the tea was done she brought it downstairs to the lab to find Karujo working on something like always.. “I brought your tea, sir..” chibi said with a smile. “Thank you, chi-chi...” the taller demon replied. Chi-chi.. she always hated that nickname.. “what are you making?” Chibi asked, curious.. “well, it was going to be a surprise but it’s designed to remove your nightmares forever, chi-chi..” Karujo excitedly explained. Chibi smiled softly as he said this. “So..I’m gonna be the test subject today?” Chibi already knew the answer, of COURSE she would be the test subject. “Of course, chi-chi..” the incubus replied. Chibi knew the incubus loved her, as she looked in his diary once, she also knew he would do nothing to hurt her so she trusted him with this.. “ok...” chibi said before stepping into the machine. Karujo shut the door behind the smaller demon and powered on the machine. It wasn’t long before the machine started to beep, warning the pair of the malfunction. “Oh no...” chibi mumbled as she tried desperately to open the door, but it was locked shut.. Chibi began to panic as she felt something begin to jab into her back. Karujo was helpless as he watched his close friend nearly get killed.. Suddenly a loud noise was heard and the two were knocked out. A few hours later Karujo woke up, only to find what looks like a human on the ground, unconscious. Karujo immediately got up and readied his magic to kill the person. However soon the human woke up and looked at the tall demon. “Karujo...? Is..that you?” The human asked.. “chi-chi?” Karujo asked, knowing full well chibi was the only one who knew his real name.. “Yea?” Chibi asked, confused on why his magic was aiming at her, soon she looked at herself.. “oh my..” chibi mumbled..

“Can you change back?”

“..I just woke up..HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW?!”

“Can you use your magic?”

“I..think so..” chibi said, before forming a small concentrated ball of shadow magic. “Yea..” Chibi looked at Karujo and got up, trying to turn back, it took a while however, and when she did, she immediately collapsed, unconscious.
