I’m in love! 😍 I finally hung up this gorgeous antique door style picture frame that I got for Christmas. I took the photos out, hung it at the end of our hallway, and hung my magnolia wreath from the top and it had totally changed the feeling of the space! What do you think?

I’ve been thinking a lot about kindness today. It’s wild how one act of kindness, or one completely lacking it, can effect someone’s day. I had an experience today, unfortunately, that was the later. I was spoken to in a way that I have never been spoken to before and it was so harsh, and crude and unkind that it has completely clouded my day. So this is just a daily reminder to be kind, no matter what you have going on in your own life, don’t take it out on others. And what I am trying to learn from this is how to take my day back after such an experience. I can’t let this ruin my whole day. Much love to you all and I hope you are all having an amazing Monday!

The necklace I’m wearing to me is very special. Not only is it beautiful and unique, but it is one of a kind. My grandfather made pewter jewelry as a hobby and I’m lucky enough to have a few pieces that he made. This piece was cast using a mold that he made of a piece of wooden trim or embellishment. It has a beautifully vintage feel and I adore it! Do you have any special pieces in your family?

What is your resolution? Happy 2018 Everyone! I know New Year’s Resolutions are so cliché but every year we make them. This year I am determined to become more organized. I bought an XL Moleskine notebook and I’m bullet journaling my planner this year. Creating a customized system will allow for even more planning and motivation to keep up with all of the busy areas in my life! How about you?
