I am a writer on AO3! You can call me Lilmia, she/her. I started a fun interactive BNHA series a bit ago, and I thought, why not give it a try with the fandoms I'm currently most active in? Which spawned this.
What do I mean by interactive?
I mean that there will be polls for the readers to decide what their character does! Yes, an original character that the readers control and get to name, dress, and design. I'll even draw the character once they've been designed!
Eww... is this RPF?
No. This is strictly about the characters, not the content creators. RPF is not for me, and I won't be writing it. This is not a statement that I think RPF is bad, I just think it's a bit weird, but I like things some would call weird myself, so as long as no boundaries are broken, who cares?
What fandoms do I mean when I say MCYT?
Well, that's constantly changing as I get into the lore of more and more minecraft series, lol. The current ones would be DSMP, Hermitcraft, Life Series, Empires SMP, QSMP, and I might do some content with SMP Earth and Origins SMP.
How interactive is interactive?
Readers will get to vote on certain decisions at the end of most chapters, and will get to suggest actions in the comments on every chapter. The idea is that it's almost like a choose your own adventure, but closer in freedom to a homebrew DND campaign. The main goal is for the readers to build a character that is fairly cohesive and will affect the world around them in ways that aren't OOC for them. This is playing build-an-OC but your mom told you you had to share with the other kids.
Pronouns...?
Okay, when a new character is created they will get three pronoun options, notice how I said pronoun and not gender! These wonderful OC's will be leaving their gender up to reader interpretation, but they still need some pronouns. Pronoun options are he/him, she/her, and they/them. Now, if someone specifically requests different pronouns I'm perfectly willing to use them, there are just so many that I can't fit them all in a poll and having only some and not all is a different kind of issue. For ease in writing and voting there will only be the three options unless requested otherwise for that specific story.
What kind of stories?
We've got the good old fix-it, the canon with a wider multiverse, the canon with a small universe, the fun medieval, the vampires, the merfolk, the superheroes, the divinity, hey, we've even got crossovers! I'll be starting out with three basic DSMP ones, the rest will be unpon request or available in a poll whenever I decide to start a new story.

Haha. No. I'll do my best to post often. But I do in fact have a life and also ADHD and these can't be prewritten because they require audience interaction.
Can the reader date any characters?
Yes! Nothing nsfw, but dating can happen. Assume all characters are bisexual or pansexual unless their sexuality is confirmed to be something other than straight in canon. If someone is canonically straight, they are still dateable no matter the pronouns the readers choose, it's only if, say, the character is gay, that the pronouns matter. As for which characters are dateable! That depends on the age decided for the reader character, age 16 means you can date anyone who is 16 or 17, age 17 means you can date anyone who is 16 or 18, age 18 means you can date any adult or anyone who is 17, age 19+ you can only date adults. If the reader character is under 16 they cannot date anyone. Also, I won't always write some characters as dateable, if dating them would involve cheating on their partners that's a no, if dating them would involve writing a character as romantic that I don't feel comfortable writing as romantic, surprise, it's now queerplatonic. When dating options become available I will make it clear in each individual story who is dateable and who isn't. And yes, polyamory is allowed, obviously, but you have to take into account if the other characters involved like each other, platonically or romantically, you can't just build a harem! (I mean, unless it's a harem story I guess)
Y/N? Second Person?
No, y/n will not be used. Yes all stories will be in second person unless specifically requested to be 3rd person or it's a special story that needs to be in 3rd person to make the storyline work.

Yes, I can't promise that I'll do every request but if you have an idea for a reader insert scenario in a MCYT fandom feel free to request it! If you really liked a scenario I've already done but want different pronouns you can request it!

If I'm making a decision about starting a new fic and I want the potential audience to be able to vote on it, like if the fic should have a decided ship, or which scenario I should work on writing next, I'll use this tag: LilmiasChooseYourOwnAdventure
