Characters: Twigs and Creator

Summary: Creator issues a challenge to Twigs, a fight in the park that he forces her to agree to after he threatens Daithi. They meet and an all out fight ensues, with surprises and a lot of destruction of public property with a side of vulgarity. Secrets are revealed and the fight ends in a painful stalemate

Summary: Aurora heads to the apartment in order to grab a few items before returning to her hotel. Little does she know Creator is watching, with plans to make good on his promise of taking her powers— and her life, while he’s at it. He traps her inside, taking his time to corner her while having a friendly little chat. Aurora sends a few messages to her friends and hopes she might have a chance at surviving the encounter. After Creator loses patience, he attacks, very nearly succeeding until DeadEye appears in the nick of time. With the help of a taser, some luck, and sheer determination, the two escape Creator’s clutches. They head to Daithi’s, where DeadEye’s brother heals her injuries while DeadEye and Daithi discuss where Aurora could stay for the time being. Meanwhile, Creator is still out there… and he’s not very happy.

Paging Dr. Healing
Characters: Creator and Bilby
CW: Descriptions of detailed injury, pain and death.
Summary: Bilby is called to help Creator heal, since his injuries are so severe. Bilby does just that while asking Creator for details and scolding him for what he had done to friends. Creator apologizes and Bilby reveals that he's going to retire.
Upset, but able to relate, Creator decides to do the same, but admits that even though he's retiring from Vantage, he won't be retiring from his research and his hunts. Rightfully angry, Bilby tells him that they're friendship is done and some unsettling words are shared.
((This rp takes place the day after the explosion.))

Characters: Creator and Perez, three innocent bystanders
CW: Detail heavy mentions of gore and burns, intense pain and suffering, body horror and medical/morgue descriptions.
Summary: Hours later, after a fatal explosion that rocked part of the city, Creator returns from the dead, but in an inconvenient place and in a brutal way. In need of serious aid, he contacts the Director of Information in Vantage, Perez. Who sends a rescue team to pick him up and cover up his mistakes.
Takes place in the morning after the explosion.

CW: Character death, blood, violence, description of burns, amputation, electrocution, gratuitous use of the word fuck,
SUMMARY: Varjo, while out practicing with his powers, makes the unfortunate discovery that he is not alone as Creator - who is out looking for fresh meat - sees him and decides that he wants a new specimen. The two banter for a small time while Varjo evades him until Creator eventually figures out that light is bad, and after a short chase manages to capture the hero.
He shocks him into unconsciousness as Blitzkrieg, alerted by the bright light and carnage leading up to where Varjo was caught, steps in, and Creator decides to try and take him, too. This ultimately doesn’t pan out in his favour as Blitzkrieg explodes after being unmasked, ‘killing’ the scientist and accidentally maiming Varjo in the process.

The idea of worship is something that’s always unnerved me. One of the very few things that do, haha!
Placing an omnipresent being, or a feeling on a podium of power over the masses that only a select few are ‘worthy’ of releasing and praising it’s teachings without proper discipline and thriving on personal opinion and beliefs always seemed dangerous to me.
That’s quite fair.
There is an… imbalance, present in many religious practices. This isn’t an inherent characteristic of the practices themselves, so I opine at least, but rather a side-effect of the way some people have tried to use religion as an instrument of control. It’s very… it’s very easy to use worship to control others — and it takes a kind and careful hand to avoid doing so by mistake.
It’s something that I do my best to avoid, when I structure services. There’s such a fine, fine line between a guiding nudge and a directing shove. I strive for love to be something shared equally, without care for stratification or caste. Anything else would be… wrong.
Throughout the world and over thousands of years, religion has been used as a basis to control entire civilizations. Entire countries have been destroyed and rebuilt over religion and many wars fought that had the consequence of countless deaths.
So ‘imbalance’ and ‘some people’ is an understatement, haha!
I understand if you were trying to use kinder words for your explanation, being a man of a new type of cloth makes sense. I appreciate it. I’m also a man of science, so I am already extremely biased, haha! The thought of a world loving each other, especially in this city, is a comforting daydream though.
