ENTREPRENEUR OF THE WEEK  Jeremy Williams

I wasn’t supposed to be here.  I know a lot of people say that and it does sound a bit Cliche but after my older sister was born, the doctors told my mother that she couldn’t have any more children.  The fact that I’m here is more than a miracle.  More like a medical impossibility.  I’ve been defying the odds even before birth.  How can I stop now? 

I took an interest in music around the age of 3.  My earliest gigs were in my moms kitchen with the help of her pots and pans and some wire hangers.  I officially started playing the drums in my church.  Drawing has always interested me and as I grew older, that interest became a passion.  I went from pencil and paper to mouse clicks and keyboard shortcuts, teaching myself how to transpose my visions to the virtual world.  I pursued a degree in at city college and graduated in with a bachelors of.   I am currently a marketing designer at vibe magazine and own my own design company.  I’ve worked with various different artists, businesses and large corporations.  My main goal is to help aspiring artists and business owners succeed, compete and remain relevant in their respective markets.  My future business prospects include but are not limited to owning my own film production company and my own television network.

ENTREPRENEUR OF THE WEEK  Jeremy Williams

My role model is Jesus. The man who could have anything and everything decided to have little to nothing to save a dying world. He embodies everything a man should be. He embodies everything a business should be. He embodies everything a world should be. My advice to other young aspiring entrepreneurs is to do it. How much do you have to lose? Risk over Worry. Love over Money. Personally I didn’t get it into entrepreneurship for money but for the love of it. I love being my own boss of my own company. I love being able to do whatever I want whenever I want. If you really love something and you think it will change the world in a great way then go for it. Don’t be scared to pay money to get it right the first time either. Your brand is extremely important and people don’t forget what they hear and see. Especially visually, spend the money and take the time to get your brand identity, web, graphics, photos, and videos done right the first time….
