Creature Comfort brings me loads of comforting joy with the Nashville four piece’s bright and crunching rock. The close knit quartet dropped their sophomore EP, Echoes & Relics, last Friday. From the superb five track release comes Light Boy, a crisply glowing, breezily drifting alt rock jam. Light Boy is catchy and heart warming, its dreamy guitar and sweeping ambiance much blissfully inebriating. Creature Comfort considers themselves a fresh alternative to the typical indie rock band, drawing influence from Modest Mouse, The Shins, Jaco Pastorius, and Pink Floyd.
