when I first started feeling it out, I would get this vision of purple and orange warm sand swirling together into infinity. Its just a random abstract visual ive always had with my gender. More recently the feeling is the act of service to to others and doing hard and sweaty physical work that feels both mentally fulfilling and gives me gender euphoria.

Ive been thinking a lot about this actually, its a good time for me to find this post. Epically been thinking about how a lot of things that feel affirming to my masculinity are literally just acts that I can do. Kinda unrelated directly but it seemed very connected to me.

Very much a act on how people just perceive binary energy, it doesn't need to be abstract and that's okay.

Many years ago i wrote a poem, speaking on my fear of being forgotten

and at the very end, in a poem full of questions and uncertainty

I added three statements of will and hope

And In the time since I have written this I have learned that I haunt the men I used to be with

Men who knew they should have been better to me

I guess my Raindance burns its way into their head and its light swirl around when their lives get dark

i know my laughter lingers in the deep grooves of their brain

and my affinity for plants has forever changed the way they see green on the sidewalk

And I am not a person of revenge, I do not seek that badge

But It does give me a sly smile in my heart when I hear stories of them struggling to forget me
