3 steps to meet/be the divine
Admit your powerlessness.
Be exceedingly grateful for how blessed you have been despite that.
Let yourself die.
We are all capable of extreme violence, and yet something holds us back.
We are all capable of extreme compassion, and yet something holds us back.
Nooooo don't monoculture yourself into knowable and controllable barrenness you're so sexy aha.
"Are you afraid of losing your individuality? Of losing yourself in the void, as if your selfness would be taken or kept from you?
A loss of control at that stage is literally impossible, because there's no such thing. The very idea is an absurdity to you. It's actually so endlessly amusing to you that you decide to try it on.... and become an individual. And you do this endlessly, of course.
So, don't worry about it, my love.
Or do. That's an amusing decision, too. You'll enjoy where it ends up, I promise."
Creating a world of invitation instead of expectation.
Anything I ask of you, you have the right to say yes or no to.
Anything others ask of me, I have the right to say yes or no to.
The divine never issues a command, it simply invites participation. It does not berate us for saying no, for that is our divine right. It does not withdraw its invitation.
Creature message of the day.
What would happen if we moved our bodies.... not in spite of our pain, or to relieve or pain, but in a way allowing our pain to move us?
What if we allow our pain to move our bodies until we are no longer afraid of it?
The idea that I need to discover who I am so I can have integrity, so I can present a consistent self to others is a fallacy. I will never have a consistent self. This is the nature of being a living, growing being. Who I was when I was 13 was not who I was when I was 13 and 3 days, or who I was when I was 23. And yet all my insecurities and masks and pretenses were part of who I was. And the ones I have now are part of who I am.
Owning that I contain multitudes and letting go of an expectation of consistency is how I know myself.
Being that and bringing that to others is how I be true in every moment.
The difference between adults and children is that adults have forgotten that the games they play are pretend.
Traditional cultural low effort recipe of the day
*leftover kasha congee
*leftover green beans
*leftover pesto
*canned sardines we got for xmas
*fermented beets
Put the congee and green beans in a pot and warm it up on the stove.
Plop it into a bowl on top of the sardines.
Plop the pesto and beets on top of that.
Dig in to the nutrition.
Pause after getting through some of the beets to have a single song dance party.
Resume eating.
Pause halfway through the bowl to type this post.

Things we can conceive of with the imagination (dreams/fears) are limited. The moment is infinite. The moment INCLUDES the imagination.
