IMPORTANT AND URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Roleplayers;

It has been three years since this roleplay first started. Some of you have been here the full three years, while others have come and gone... and come back again. I am not going to lie about the fact that it has been a wild ride with you guys, nor that both Kim and I feel incredibly lucky that we have been privileged enough to be able to spend this time with all of you (current and past members) and that it has been one of the ultimate pleasures we've experienced getting to know all of you.

And it is with this in mind that we are announcing the closing of Criminal Minds Roleplay.

Within the discussions that both Kim and myself have had, we have made the decision to encourage the roleplayers to continue to play together, to interact and to continue to build relationships together. This main and the moderation (as well as activity checks and planned events) will no longer be a piece of this. Please be aware that we absolutely still love all of you, and we are still going to be around regardless of the fact that the roleplay is closing and we love you more than you could know. We cannot begin to express what a wondrous ride 2014 has been with all of you. With changes in and out of character and the drastic shifts all of us have experienced, we are so glad to have those of you here that are sticking around. We so appreciate it! is this rp even active? none of your members are ever on?

Very active, actually.

If you look at historically with roleplaying, it always slows down in November and the early weeks of December because of the holidays and finals. Is that disappointing? Always. But I've been through a few years of this and it'll settle again.

I know we do have a few characters on hiatus and another one on an undercover assignment that placed the character across the country so it makes it a little more difficult to interact. But in the big picture? I'm fairly happy with this roleplay.

This post is to inform everyone that, after contacting us on the main, it is required that you either post an open convo/para or respond to one.

This is so that we have solid proof that you wish to continue for your character to be active within the group.

What if we did a Christmas event?

A holiday event would definitely be fun. Is there anything specific people would like to see? A winter holiday festival, tree lighting, etc.? 

In addition, who would be up for a "para roulette" sort of set-up, where you sign up and we place your characters in pairs or groups with a little 'scenario' to get those parties paras started?
