Eyes affixed to a spot on a floor still unable to meet his gaze. Despite it, she could feel the intensity and weight of his mood before he chided her in front of the blonde. Fear of the man had been established weeks ago. It wasnât long after their bonding ceremony his true brutish nature came out. Honestly, she should be ecstatic that his attention was elsewhere; if the ramifications werenât so severe. When he struck the other woman she looked up, in time to catch him coming, leaving her to panic. Taking a few steps back she ran into the wall just before he grabbed her arm.Â
Maybe it was the compounding of humiliation and anger but she was at a breaking point. Digging her heels in it was only when he yanked did she finally move. Throwing his words back, âIt has everything to do with us and our vows.â Letting her eyes flicker to small blonde on the floor she felt sympathetic to her plight but right now the other woman was the enemy. Etta didnât feel like heeding to his request instead she attempted to tug her arm from the firm grasp. Turning in the doorway she glared at him indignant by the entire situation. âYou could at least show me the respect by not sleeping with her in our bed.â Shaking her head as tears trailed down she spat out, âDonât give her the baby you promised me.âÂ
His narrowed eyes were set on her, his shoulders showing the tension and anger that filled him, boiling his blood. Not only was Etta acting out but he would have to once again discipline this little tramp in the bed. For a moment he turned from Etta and looked at Em. She had her hand to her face, her lip split from the impact of his hand. Unlike Etta her head was not lowered, her defiance evident, and more so he thought he saw joy in this little outburst and distraction. He place one hand on the belt loose around his hips and arched one brow, but it was enough to make its impact and she dropped her eyes, pulling the sheet around her again and going silent. Returning to Etta he rolled his eyes when she went to leave him. Did she not remember how much that act angered him? By now she should know her place, they were bonded after all, but apparently women around here couldn't be bothered to remember these things. It was why he treated them the way he did. While he enjoyed Etta greatly and she was a good "wife," women in general always brought about his anger. He supposed it had something to do with his mother, but at the end of the world who had time for psychological bull shit like that.Clearing his throat he tightened his grip on her arm, forcing her to move. Great he thought, not she was being stubborn as well. "No Etta it had nothing to do with them," he said again firmly. There was no argument, he was the man, he was the fucking leader, who was she to argue with that? When she went to pull her arm free he quickly reached over and grabbed her other one, slamming her into the open doorway. "Wipe that look off your fucking face," he spit out at her, his hands bruisingly tight, knuckles white with the force. Eyes widened at her words and he had to stop from truly hurting her for this disrespect. "That is my fucking bed and I can do who and what I want in it."Â
His eyes were dark with the rage coursing through him and with force he slammed her into the wall again. "How dare you speak to me like this in my fucking house." He was yelling now, spit on his lip as he hissed out the words. "You don't deserve the fucking baby, you don't deserve my seed, you acting a child yourself." He roared, letting go of her only to raise his arm and back hand her hard enough to knock her down. "I will give you the child when you deserve it, when you know your place." With a kick to her stomach he stood to his full height. "Now go downstairs and clean up."Lifting his leg again he stopped when he heard his name. Turning he saw Em standing in the doorway, not even bothering with the sheet. "Crispin," she cried out. "Stop, you're going to kill her, stop." Her eyes darted to the woman on the ground, eyes filled with tears. Though she barely knew this woman, she could not bear to see someone hurt, and so brutally. "Just stop, please. You know I can take a hit, take it out on me." Reaching for his arm she stood tall, but small compared to him. "Let's go back in the room, I think she's gotten the point." Em would make it a point to tell this poor woman that she couldn't have kids and she had nothing to worry about. Feeling the heat of his anger she pulled on his arm, waiting for the pain that was sure to follow. Without pause he kicked at Etta again, making Em cry out. An evil smirk forming on his lips. "Maybe I want to play with her now instead. Hmm, what are you going to do about that?" Turning to Etta he yanked her up by her long red hair and stood her to face Em. "What do you think my bonded, who should I hurt?"
