Well well… we meet again. I keep attempting this endeavour but you know, I’m not even going to pretend I have this under a handle so you know what, I want to enjoy this and not make it a complete and utter shore for myself, so I guess I will just post when I have something I want to share or if I have managed to finish a project….
Listen I’m not going to lie, I cannot for the life of me remember what I said in the last post but oh well…
A few updates from over the last couple of months….
Things have been decently alright, I mean I am managing to hold down a job and not feel like I want to die everytime I go into work or have to do a shift… probably helps that there is a lot of driving time to go to and from client houses and that gives me a little break between social interactions, or it could be that no one day of my work week is the same person or environment… I mean sure, a lot of my clients have some sort of disability and that’s generally why our company is called into do maintenance cleans, but like my clients are all very different so its nice to have that variety.
Something else, got two new kitties at the beginning of the year, probably around “Australia” Day… actually, I think we may have picked them up on “Australia” Day… they are so cute, unfortunately my eldest kitty doesn’t like other cats but that’s alright. She has a lot of space outside and also she gets my bedroom to herself which she is pretty chuffed about tbh.
Alright so, onto crocheting progress-
I did indeed end up finishing F’s Frog Bucket Hat… that being said, I do believe he would like to have some wire put into the brim of the hat so the brim sits a bit more outward as opposed to kind of flopping down in his face a little…. Hopefully I have some photos that I can add but otherwise, it is peering at me from the corner of F’s bookshelf.
I managed to finish my Fairy shrug which I had started in like May last year, but ya know whta, we finished! Also it is possibly the best piece of clothing I have or will ever own. It has the lovely nice long bell sleeves and also it is just so pretty. My mother in lawe bought me some like silver mushroom charms and then some silver moon and stars charms and then also some gold ones which I am contemplating putting a few onto the fairy shrug but we shall find out.
I also finished A’s Rainbow Tote Bag… once again, started May last year but once again you know what—— we got it done and that is ultimately all that matters….
Also I know I have a literal tonne of yarn but like… I totally didnt buy like another 800gm of yarn… But they were mill ends and then A has asked for a Fairy Shrug and I found the most beautiful pastel gradient yarn that isn’t quite wool but ya know what, it will be way better for A anyway.
