three days of laziness is heavily catching up to me :( saturday night is gonna be filled with note taking and learning ceramic typology for my lab report due in 5 days already!! and tomorrow i have to catch up on some reading too. i’m stressing myself out..
I'm taking a hiatus and moving blogs!
Tldr: taking a break from the internet, moving blogs, mutuals can ask for my new blog. Eventually I am going to make my side blogs private or delete them. Queue is running but its gonna run out (maybe around a month). It's been a nice 4 years <3

Weirdly, university has been manageable the past two weeks…perhaps too manageable. I’m starting to feel antsy, almost like an invisible sword of Damocles is hanging above my head.
I suppose for now I’ll enjoy the nice fall weather.

Mix until the sugar is dissolved.
Mix in half n half and vanilla until combined.1 cup half and half,½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Stir in a pinch of salt and remaining lemon juice (1 ½ tablespoons).pinch salt
Cover with plastic wrap.( Be sure the plastic wrap is touching the mixture to prevent it from developing a skin on top)
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until thickened.
Stir in strawberry mixture.
Add the mixture into your ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer's instructions for your particular machine.
Transfer ice cream into an airtight container (ice cream container) and freeze for at least 4 hours. Store in the freezer for 1-2 weeks.

HOWW TO STOP PROCRASTINATING AND ACTUALLY STUDYY
Anon I know I'm answering you after 100 years (pls don't hate me). I'LL TRY TO DO MY BEST.
HOW TO STOP PROCASITNATION AND ACTUALLY STUDY ˚˖𓍢🌷✧˚.🎀⋆
STEP 1: Set up a study place you love. Add posters of your favorite show (check out Pinterest), throw in some cute plants and good lighting. This might feel unnecessary, but having a space you want to be in makes a huge difference.
Recently, I helped my younger sibling (who would never sit at her desk) decorate her space with fake ivy, fairy lights and posters. I also added a mirror in the corner and a stick-on hook for her to hang keychains. Now the space is super cute and welcoming, and she actually sits there!!
STEP 2: Restrict time on distracting apps (but not completely) Let’s say you spend 2 hours a day on App Y. Set a time limit for 1.5 hours instead (it’s super easy to do on iPhone, and there are tons of free Android apps for this). Avoid cutting your app usage dramatically, as that makes it more likely you'll revert to old habits. Once you're used to that limit (give it a week or two), cut it down bit by bit till your desired duration. You will soon notice that the urge to use that app decreases.
For iOS: Go to Settings > Screen Time > App Limits For Android: Check out StayFree - Screen Time
STEP 3: Just sit on the desk!!!! From my experience, whenever I don’t want to study and choose to work in bed, I usually end up asleep. On the other hand, when I decide to sit at my desk (despite feeling lazy), I end up getting some work done. Making the choice to leave the bed and sit at a table and chair IS SUPER HARD. And when faced with that choice, try to remind your brain why you are doing this. STEP 4: Macaw, I'm on my desk. WHAT NOW???? Make a playlist of chill songs that you love (songs you are sure you won't end up singing and dancing to). Just play it whenever you don't feel like studying. Choose a task that's easy but super important first. This approach would help you get into the flow of studying.
STEP 5: WHAT ABOUT ALL THAT HUGE PILE OF STUFF I NEED TO DO Write everything down. Getting it all out of your head and onto paper makes it less overwhelming. Then,
1. Identify urgent tasks: Highlight anything urgent (deadlines, exams, etc.) 2. Plan weekly: Decide what to tackle each week based on what’s most important. 3. Eliminate non-essential tasks: My perfectionist ass always tries to do everything, even things that don’t help my grades or the actual exam. And at the end, seeing all the pile of tasks, I would end up doing nothing. Don't be like me and DROP THEM T-T !!!
This step also helps effectively choose tasks that are "easy but super important" for study sessions.
