The G-City
Hi! I am Guessan and welcome to the year 3000! [Endgame pun intended] Let me take you on a tour in my ideal global city.
I would like to call this city, the G-City short for Guessan’s City. Kidding. It’s just short for Global City. I think it sounds a little more cooler… right?
Oh, by the way, the G-City motto is: Greater Connection, Greater City
One of the many things that G-City is proud of is the presence of different international services and companies around the area. It has brought its people some diverse cultures that they can experience and discover through interaction.
This city serves as a headquarters for different multinational corporations because they believe that G-City is like their portal to the international market place. G-City also host advanced producer services be it in marketing, accounting and finance.
In G-City, we also have variety of international financial services notably in finance, insurance, real estate, banking, accountancy and marketing. In this city, the economy is very progressive and it has to be maintained that way by trusting these international financial services.
I have mentioned various kinds of companies dwelling in G-City which means there are a lot of tall buildings here! But don’t worry, these buildings were not built to obstruct your view of the other thing that G-City is proud of which is our preservation of the natural environment. These buildings were built to also promote and conserve nature. How? The construction companies used sustainable and eco-friendly materials and made sure that the facade of the buildings has a vertical garden on them.
G-City is not only for the working people, it is also for families that wants to live with more connection to other people and to the environment. Different condominiums were also built in this city which has one important requirement for every tenant that they accept — to have plants in their balcony and inside their home. Residents in the G-City are also required to plant trees every year to promote and maintain the environment amidst the rise of different buildings in the area.
G-City is also surrounded with a lot of CCTV cameras and police stations to make the residents feel safe.
Education is very important in G-City. This city has different kinds of schools and colleges for its residents. It also has international schools that are interconnected with different schools around the globe.
Life in G-City is a balance between working hard and playing hard. This city understands the stressful lives of the workers and also the challenging lives of the families. That’s why this city have different malls, bars and restaurants for the workers so they could unwind and relax after a long day at work.
Parks, open spaces, gardens, public artworks and the like are also built for children or any family members to enjoy.
G-City also has its own stadium for different national or international athletic competitions. This was also built for concerts of local and international music artists.
Stress-free transportation is a very important factor in living a better life. That’s why this city has improved trains and traffic laws. People are also more disciplined and respectful in this place. Also, in G-City, everything is already accessible just by basically walking or riding a bicycle because everything that you can possibly need is strategically placed near you! This means that G-City has less cars which means less pollution, less traffic and also less carbon footprint.
G-City aims to connect its people other people and also to connect its people to the environment. Connection is a very important factor in this city. It has a good outcome because every so often a resident from G-City interacts with an international visitor or friend, he or she already knows how to connect and welcome the foreigner properly. This eliminates risks of misunderstanding and fear of the foreigners.
That’s it for the G-City tour! I hope you had fun!
