BMW S1000rr and S1000r. Both very affordable, actually both cheaper than the 2015 Yamaha R1 which is good but yet sorta disheartening considering I am a Yamaha guy. But it’s got the gears turning in my head on returning to riding and the bike I want to go with. I love a naked bike, all purpose and a lot cooler when it’s warm weather. But I’ve always wanted a dedicated supersport just because. But the BMW offers more with the S1000r for a naked bike than what I’ve seen from any other bike in it’s class that I know of. And of course it’s BMW. But I love how the R1 sounds though, something about that crossplank crank shaft is like exhaust porn to my ears. I however wish yamaha would do what BMW did with the S1000r and just do it with the R1 and just redo the FZ1 and make a street friendly version of the R1 that’s naked. But maybe 2016 will hold something new for the FZ1 and I’ll consider another one day. 

One day I shall return.
