More than he had seen his entire damn life for that matter. While Hero spoke, his arm that was wrapped around her pulled her in closely. His hand lightly rubbing her shoulder. “Oh, stop. I’m fine.” He replied back, lightly pulling her towards him as he nudges her. “You should have seen some of the things that use to be put on my wanted posters. Trust me, I can handle it.” Flynn laughs lightly. 

Her cheeks flushed as he called her his quarter goddess -- she loved it, even if it was a little silly. As he pulled her closer, Hero shifted to crawl into his lap and snuggle up against his chest. She felt better just being in his arms alone. Hero laughed when he mentioned his wanted posters and she shook her head. “All the more reason you don’t need it from me,” She told him, moving to take one of his hands into hers and squeezing it lightly. “What are you doing out here so late, anyway?” Hero asked him, turning her head enough so violet eyes could look at him.

Now, he didn’t want to let it go. “Hey.” He took a small step forward. “Hey, what did you mean?” He questioned in a small tone. “Come on, Hero, you can talk to me.”

As she hung her cloak, she sighed. Now Hero truly regretted saying anything at all. “It doesn’t matter, Demetrius,” The brunette shook her head, avoiding his gaze. “I-I wasn’t thinking straight...” That wasn’t a lie. Hero hadn’t been thinking at all, but she knew he was right -- they weren’t a normal married couple and never would be. Demetrius couldn’t help but laugh at her statement. “You know,” He began as he took the ointment from her hand, “You don’t need to be a proper wife with me..especially since we both are fully aware that this is never what we wanted.” 

“I know that. I just meant...” Hero trailed off as she shook her head, moving to pick up the riding gloves she had tossed onto the table and going to put them away into their proper place, along with her cloak.  “Never mind. You’re right.” She said softly, her eyes avoiding his gaze.

He simply just let out a single laugh. “You undermine what you’re truly capable of Hero,” Flynn said as he moved to wrap his arm over her shoulder. “—And you don’t talk enough.” He retorted back, finally looking back to her. A flat smile formed on his lips. “Don’t apologize,” Flynn smirks, “You know, it’s kinda hot when you snap like that. You should totally do it more often.” 

She smiled as he wrapped his arm around her -- but she shook her head with a laugh. “You’re bias, Flynn Rider, and maybe even a little blinded by love.” The brunette teased him with a grin though she did believe that, but being blinded by love wasn’t always a bad thing. She certainly was. Hero’s violet eyes looked down at her journal as she wrapped it’s attached leather string around it to keep it closed. “No .. I feel bad when I snap at you. I don’t like doing that.” She said softly, eyes still locked on her journal, now tying the string.
