Mutt/Reader Fight
It had been a while since your last spar with Regal. A while since you felt the sting of a landing blow on your back or a hit on your leg. Back to the normal house cleaning, the normal food making, the normal; well everything. Back to being emotionless, back to just … annoying Mutt.
Oh you loved; secretly of course, to annoy the hell out of him. How dare he collar you and then just ditch you here. Not that you’d tell him this, not that you’d show him this emotion. No, let him suffer with every twitch, scowl, and deadpan of unamusement he gives you as you call him “Master”. Hell, even Ike started taking bets with his siblings and cousins; the guy had a ton of family honestly, on how long it would take for Mutt to go fully crazy. Apparently Ike made it no secret he was taking bets and loved to tease Mutt about it.
Secretly it brought you some satisfaction that Mutt was getting teased, but again you were emotionless, a mask of indifference. You wouldn’t give any of them the satisfaction of knowing you kinda liked it. Kinda… because well you were still getting used to this life… whatever this life was.
Mutt had been lounging all day on the couch, pathetic really, such a powerless monster and you were forced to serve him. Regal on the other hand…he was worth it, their sparring sessions always had you aching, but even through the pain you liked it. It gave you back a sense of your worth. So when you heard Regal order Mutt up and him snort and just roll over, you rolled your eyes as you dusted the mantlepiece of the firepit. Regal with his hands on his hip bones staring at his brother he about scoffed and left it at that but then seeing you he smiled, oh yes, an evil smile, “Fine, go spar with your bride” he ordered.
Wait, did he? With him? Spar… as if “master” could even keep up. At first you just stopped dusting waiting to see what Mutt would even do.
“Pfft, bro come on wit her? Nah. N’ stop callin’ her m’ bride.” he about rolled over as he grumbled. No way you were his bride, not like you’d even let him into your bed anyway.
“I do indeed mean for you to spare with her.” Regal retorted. His tone once again left no uncertain terms for Mutt.
“I’ll spare with Master.” you agreed.
“Stop callin’ m’ tha, I told ya.” he grumbled
“Yes Master.” you replied. Oh the way he stopped and stared you were giddy inside. Let him squirm.
Mutt let out a sigh as he slowly stood up. “Fine, if I win ya stop callin’ m’ masta.”
“If you win.” you decided.
Soon you were both outside, Gardner was there as was Regal. Gardner was hoping for an epic fight, Regal just wanted to make sure his brother properly fought.
Regal handed you both kendo sticks you taking yours as you readied yourself but Mutt just barely glanced at it, not taking it shoving his hands in his hoodie pockets. “M’ good.” he yawned in a tired voice.
You rolled your eyes, of course he wasn’t even going to try.
Soon you made the first move, but just as you went head straight at him he dodged, side stepping and yawning, completely bored. “Gardner said ya was a good fighter, yet I dodge ya.”
Was that a taunt? He was taunting you. So you sliced to the side not moving but again he just stepped aside, you clearly missed.
Blinking you were a little thrown off, so you made the initiative and moved forward yet again slicing at him with your Kendo sword, but again he just stepped to the side so then this brought on a fluid motion from you as decided to double down. No way you were going to let him make a fool of you. Not like this.
If you moved forward swinging he stepped backwards, which made you move forward but feigned and moved to the side, which he again just stepped to the side.
That is he kept this up till you decided to get faster. Something he obviously wasn’t expecting, he figured you’d get bored, thrown in the towel, stop, cave in. Boy he was dead wrong.
With each side step brought on a flurry of new movements. He also didn’t expect your speed to kick up in gear either. If he stepped you were on him, if he made a move to the other side you were there, legs kicking, Kendo moving, it was like a damn dance routine and he was not enjoying it.
He actually had to force himself to use Magical means by “teleporting” away from you. You somehow made your body a damn weapon. This… this was not normal for most humans.
Well, he had seen one of his human friends fight once and that person was not normal either in his book when it came down to it.
What he didn’t expect was for you to anticipate where he’d “teleport” too, and as soon as he was there you were on him.
He was dodging, porting, moving and you were right there meeting him, almost hitting him.
The fight went on and soon he was having to throw up bone walls, but you jumped over them, using the trees as leverage, using the limbs as means to strike from above. Damn you were fast.
All the while Gardner was in awe, Regal too smirked from the sidelines, finally his brother had to get a work out. This also just confirmed it for him that his brother was lacking in the physical department.
Soon you were going at speed, but he too was working overtime throwing up bone walls, throwing out bones as a means to try and distract you, but alas it didn’t work. He had hoped it would. And now he realized he was going to have to actually battle you.
It went from him sidestepping you to a full on fight scene. You threw leg kicks, he blocked with a well placed parry, damn he realized he had gotten a bit sloppy and you started landing more hits. Fuck, he didn’t like this.
He threw up a bone wall, you were over it with your leg drew back ready to kick so another wall of bones went up over his head but you skid across it coming down twirling and landing a kick on his back. Grimacing that actually hurt.. The fuck… were you trying to harm him.
What made it worse was that damn collar, you felt him getting aggravated, felt the anger rising slowly at first but more pronounced the collar with each bought of anger that your kicks caused made the collar react and soon it was digging into your flesh demanding you to stop. But you kept going ignoring the pain.
That is until Regal happened to look and see the amount of damage that collar was doing. “ENOUGH. This Spar IS OVER!” he boomed. He grabbed you up, seeing the damage, Mutt was pissed, at first pissed over having to spar, then now because apparently this collar was causing you damage as well. The two brothers looking you over as it dug into your skin, And no matter the pain, you hadn’t stopped not once. That was more concerning, they needed this collar off of you. That was abundant. Regal took you inside Mutt following behind. This was now a major concern, just what kind of collar did this?
