Thishis is just a sneak peak, as i’m unsure if i want to make this a series following the plot of the new game, or just an incredibly long oneshot. It’s also my first piece of writing on this blog so i don’t know if anybody actually wants to see this. If you DO want to see more, let me know i guess.

‘ THE CRIMSON RAIDERS NEED YOU. ‘
The poster you saw just miles before your current position stayed drilled into you mind. Of course you knew who the crimson raiders were! Everybody did. With the Firehawk’s reputation, it would be shocking if somebody didn’t.
With the new threat of the Calypso twins ; Tyreen and Troy, wreaking havoc across a multitude of different planets, it was expected that help was needed. And it was needed fast. You knew you could help them. Perhaps you could even help them win.
A promise you had made a long time ago also flickered back into your mind. A promise to preserve your life if given the chance. To make no heroic acts to save another. It was made in vain, however. People die, people get hurt, and if you could stop that then . . . you had to.
Being one of the six sirens found throughout the universe, somebody you viewed as a father had practically begged you to keep out of trouble. Desperate not to have a destructive siren formed in your stead when you were killed.
The more you thought about the poster, it’s torn adges and faded colour from the dust of Pandora, the clearer your answer became. With Lilith’s siren powers gone, leeched by the more powerful of the twins, they needed an extra helping hand. You had no doubt they had recruited Maya already. Having met her during her vault hunting days, the one or two stories she had told you about Lilith made you believe there was no way they wouldn’t band together with a threat this big.
All the thinking had made your decision clear. You had to help. The aid of another siren could be their bargaining chip. Being under the radar for so many years has its advantages. Nobody, bar a few, knew you existed. Tyreen and Troy know what they’re up against. A few vault hunters ( old and new ) that can and will take them on. They didn’t know about you. You were powerful. Not more than Lilith, but your ability to phase into a incorporeal version of yourself for a minute or so to kick some ass could get the Crimson Raiders a long way.
The promise was now far in the back of your mind as you quickly raced towards your nearest Catch-A-Ride, your destination the soon-to-be-gone sanctuary ship that was almost on the other end of pandora. You’d make it, though. And you’d help in whatever way you could.
