So I do not claim this to be lore accurate or factual in the slightest, and I wasn't going for aesthetic either, this is just how he makes me feel: southern urban white trash edition
All of these images are sensory driven and I have very positive, pleasant associations with everything listed here
Going into detail because why the hell not🤷♂️
Flower: the Japanese honeysuckle. I grew up snacking on these during the summer time as a child and when it gets really hot out, they become very fragrant and easy to spot. They smell great and taste even better. Even now, I would never turn down the chance to suckle that Japanese honey🌝 (sorry not sorry)
Weather: mammatus clouds. I grew up with tornados. Ironically I was never afraid of the weather. Im lucky enough I have never encountered a tornado face to face. I have always loved the smell and the color and the warm wetness of the sky post tornado
Color: a deep, rich green. Nuff said
Food: funeral potatoes. Something I could get sick on, especially the scalloped kind
Beverage: my weapon of choice, guava Celsius drinks. I would probably drink them more if they didnt lowkey give me a heart murmur
Object: I LOVE to dumpster dive and I LOVE free things. Combing through discarded items on the side of someones house is one of my favorite pastimes. Especially when I spot books, furniture, or craft supplies
Place: might look a little offputting to some, but I adore liminal spaces. I'm quite fond of this one because this is when its cool and rainy and late into the night and theres no one else around, save for me and a few trusted friends, sometimes just me. The air is clean and everything is quiet af. Few things beat this and a burrito and fresh sprite in the parking lot
Animal: I love fireflies. They remind me of happier, simpler times in my youth. I used to watch them for hours back when I would sit outisde on hot summer nights with family members during summertime cookouts (this was way back when before I was slapped in the face with their bigotry, so I cling to those early memories like stink on a skunk)
