A snow grave. when you have a snowgrave eventually it will melt and you'll have a watergrave.

we have gone far enough that it snowed, and the snow has melted. calling for us to dive in.

Noelle cast snow grave, we dragged noelle through it all, and despite Kris trying to melt all that snow, we ruined it. But the snow is gone now. There is only water.

So now they will drown.

Kris is probably kicking their own ass. Because if they hadn't done anything, if they had just waited a little longer or hell even just told her never to bring it up ever again no matter what because something bad would happen. if only they didn't have to be vague, if only they weren't hiding something. The could have opened the door and let the water out. They could have avoided the chapter 4 scenes, Noelle wouldn't have gone of the deep end and dragged them along for the ride.

Kris never hated the soul before. They just didn't like us, and reasonably so. we're taking away their agency and could potentially get in the way of previous promises. But all that has gone out the window. they don't care anymore. they don't look at any of the objects, there's no text.

Kris loathes you in the snowgrave route. whereas normally they have a job to do and you're annoying the shit outta them.

I just... Haven't seen any content of people attacking darkners since chapter 2 really... What's that about?

I haven't seen any content of people killing/attacking darkners in Chapter 5...

I'm not surprised! Most people have been doing the weird route and that's... Something but if you're hardcore weird route you didn't even get to meet any darkners on that run...

But I have yet to see content of people attacking in Chapter five. No content depicting what happens! None of it.

In fact... I haven't seen much content of attacking since chapter 3. Which is funny. Was the content just not good enough to make content outside the game?? But I also dont want to play the game that way... Chapter 2 led to some terrifying outcomes when you played with that mindset. I do not want to see what would happen to the flowers of I hurt them...

But part of me does. Some insane part of me wants to know that they would fight me harder if I was attacking them... The demeanor changes, the absolute terror that takes hold. What does Asgore do? How does Asgore change? How... Does Susie react?

I'm sure data miners have dug through it all. But I just... It's insane to me. It's like we all fell in line, that only for that one chapter was it okay to kill any darkners. Only for that one chapter did anyone want to see what would happen because it created a new narrative, not just a little change. What does that say about how we feed our curiosity?

Ralsei is so so very keen on us being nice, and even that's not working! What if we just aren't nice? What if we do follow the logic of fight fight kill.

Will Susie's Dialogue to the old man change when he jumps into fights? How does it change Susie's character arc.

We are attached now. We are so scared of seeing these characters hurting... We don't even think about hitting the fight button anymore.

Sadly because of that hidden option, because we sacrificed Noelle and all of chapter 2... We saved everyone else.

What is a worse fate to Ralsei that the dark worlds ceasing to exist? A lightner getting hurt. Seriously hurt...

Is hurting Noelle enough for you to stop hurting everyone else?

Just looked it up to see if anyone has and honestly chapter 5 is really really...

You can attack but they either retreat or heal constantly and then if you do it to Flowery Ralsei and Susie refuse to fight and will simply heal Flowery.

Meaning hurting is not an option. The hurting really does end with Noelle...

Just had a NIGHTMARISH thought... Deltarune's ending being thematically the same as DANGANRONPA V3 (the dogcheck in Chapter 5 had me PARALYZED)

I loved loved loved Susie's growth in this chapter. I don't think it was out of character.

People need to remember that Susie being tough is a persona she uses to get people to leave her alone because she's scared of being hurt or abandoned.

Opening up and having a great date with Noelle??? She's trying to find more of herself to share with Noelle.

She takes the red ribbon but gets embarrassed, not cause she's hurt, but she doesn't want her friends to think she's weird. The one she gets from flowery is tough! So she comproises with it.

Flowery isn't a bad guy, he's annoying and Ralsei's dislike of him comes from something Susie has no clue about. She's not ignoring that Ralsei is upset, she's probably confused and thinks it's similar to Berdly. And simply wants to be able to comfort Ralsei in the ways she can. And don't forget that she has more important things on her mind. They need to close the fountain. She's trying her hardest to save Kris' dad. Simply ignoring or dealing with Flowery should be an easy task with that in mind. Constantly going at Flowery takes away from them getting to and closing the fountain.

Susie experiences a lot in this chapter.

Her first date, her first time expressing romantic feelings, her first time in a long time opening up to someone, her first time being genuinely scared in the dark world, her first time having a sense of urgency right in front of her. (Yeah she thinks toriel is in the dark world in chapter 4, but it's never direct. We never see toriel, and she's distracted by the prophecy!) She sees Asgore and is aware that he can be taken by the knight. Susie is going through it. And still trying to figure out what to do to be well liked by Noelle.

Toby did a great job reminding us that Susie is still just a teenage girl. No matter how strong or scary she aims to be. Shes just a girl with a huge crush on another girl and a desire to make as many friends as possible.
