Hey peeps!!!! Over the last year, I've been working with some of the most awesomest people at CCA. We've all been working on our film, 'The Sunken Forest'. With the film direction and creation of James EdWard Kennedy Jr. , we have been able to gain experience and really work on a group student film. Co-Director and Composer of DreamWorks’ Larrikins film, Tim Minchin, announced yesterday on his blog that the film is no longer in production. The project was going to be an Australian rock musical featuring an all-animal cast. (More on the film at Deadline).

“A couple of days ago, the animated film to which I’ve dedicated the last 4 years of my life was shut down by the new studio execs,” he wrote. DreamWorks also faced cancellation of The Croods sequel (Nov. 2016) and 200 job cuts (Sept. 2016) after Comcast’s acquisition.

The film was originally scheduled to release in 2018. It looks like there’s no official word from DWA yet, so be on the lookout for more information.
