okay, so there was supposed to be more to this, but I'm too lazy. Basically the kids are being trained by handling real life crime situations, which isn't going so well. The trainer here is definitely meaner than he's supposed to be, but whatever. (I mean, everyone is mean to them, but not this bad... yet.) Ian, being an accident, can't really do much since he's a swampy thing. So he just watches, unless the assignment involves going under water.
also I'm introducing Avery and Adam in my au !! They don't have huge roles really, they're just some of the interns at H.A.D. so they get to see the mutants in training. I think eventually avery will gain some faith in them, but Adam is as cynical as he'll ever be.
Morgan and Britney are probably the creepiest looking in my au (the rest don't even look creepy sorry) so I drew them cutesy just because. It's them in their respective "combat gear". They're here to screw up save things whether they like it or not.
The kids of H.A.D. in my mutant au are basically matm with the addition of Ian and Cora so really it's matm but better

Okay, so they're obviously not mutants, but rather part of the "young hero" academy where they train teenagers to save the world, since this world saving stuff is pressured on an early age. Aurora and Seth both are competitive towards each other, making sure they graduate at the top of the class, since the top student is of course going to be the best.
However, neither of them are exactly doing this because they genuinely care about the safety of others, but for the fame and fortune (who has heard of this trope before ? literally everybody.)
Things change when the HAD (human advancement department) introduce they're band of mutants/super humans, who don't need the technology or the heavy schooling (aka waste of time and money) to save the world. This makes student heroes, especially aurora and seth, very very mad.
My drawing method is slowly creeping back to the way my stuff looked last summer. stop me.

quick morning doodle. The weather sucks. Unless you actually like snow. Which I don't. So Riley doesn't. She is essentially most of my own flaws molded into a physical form.
so I sorta realized that although I meant to throw away this au a while ago, I'm somewhat bringing it back and I never gave britney a place in it. So here it goes.
Britney is a chem student and she was always fascinated hearing about these genetically engineered people on the news, specifically the kid who can move things with his mind and the shapeshifter. Of course, they were created in labs, so she never had the chance to look into their development. She heard recent stories of a giant girl and a swamp humanoid both made that way through nuclear/radiation accidents, so she thought "a normal human could turn into a mutant ?!?" so she did her experiments on it, tested herself, and what do you know !!? she's done screwed up now.
I'm not so sure if this will be her final mutant design, but I'm working on it.

okay, so in my mutant au (i hate this name since the majority of them aren't mutants, but whatever) Alec is a clone of a previous superhero, and Alec's expected to follow his legacy. I mean, he has to, he's a multimillion dollar project.
a little addition to my mutant au. Once a humanoid/monster hybrid of Morgan has been found scavenging the city for necessitates to stay warm and well-fed, She had been sent to the HAD (human advancement department) where she will meet teens who do too, struggle with being a normal kid.
