I have an announcement
Well, now that I have your attention, I can explain. I think we have realized I haven't been on as much as before. No, it's not really school related or home related or any of that stuff. I've just created a new muse that's far more solid than this little toothpick ship I've been sailing with spit and duct tape. I've learned quite a bit just from this here community. (Still don't know how to set up the rules tho, but I guess that will just sort itself out in time.) I've gotten to know some cool people who are really passionate about this stuff. (Fuck yeah! Pokemon!) and in turn they've even helped me out in a way. I think this all started when an old friend found me, and we sparked up a Skype RP (you know who you are) it was then that I really got that 'old me' taste of rping. Creating huge places to go and explore, building characters with their great strengths and tragic flaws, essentially breathing life into so many different things around you for you and your partner to enjoy and build together. It's like a perfect game of Minecraft. But it was there that I really could build a character from essentially the ground up. And I had a blast! To bring this to a point, I'm going to be leaving this blog for good. It's not any of you here, I want to make that so clear because the people I got to know are so fantastic I can't stress that enough. You are all beautiful and clever people just doing what you love. I had a blast with you people in the Pokemon community. You went ahead and let an OC (a somewhat poor one, I'll admit) in on your little adventures in this magical place. I learned to be a little more confident with my work and stick my neck out there a bit more to find more people. (It's still stressful. ^^; ) but I have my very slowly growing success to you guys. And now for some shout-outs. Sweetbabygroudon ~ I loved your muse. Madison is a great character that really shows growth over the time. Even if our muses butted heads a bit and our RP's cut VERY shot because of it, it was still fun to see two children squabble over little things. Keep going and growing as a person and as a muse, I'd love to see what happens. Wanderingmythologist ~ This could have been a great RP! I was very excited to see what you and your muse had in store for it. I'd love to stay in touch or something because your just a fun person to stick around. Also, your tips were really helpful in the long run. Still not too sure how in the hell I got to RP with you because of your rules but hey, I guess it worked out! XD you also seemed to be the only person to actually tag me in something. (That's never happened what do I do halp) but seriously, this has to be one of my favorite RP's I've done here. Keep it going and being helpful man! Travelinghistorianarawn ~ Give yourself a pat on the back, you hold the record for the longest RP I've had here on tumblr. (We made it to the next city wooooo!) I feel like your style really complements mine because of how somewhat short and sweet but still very energetic at the same time. I don't really know how to explain it. It wasn't a wall of text, or a single shitty sentence. You got just the right amount of energy and emotion out without causing any real stress with someone who's intimidated by a massive wall of text and think they have to match it but all they wanted to do was get a soda, not talk about the teachings of Buddah, you know? It's a good balance and you and your muse are really very relaxing to be around. You can really just sit and chat with them with an iced tea and sandwiches. Keep going and don't be worried about descriptions. You just follow what your gut is telling you. Wiinterceariig ~ Oh lawdy the details you put in your RP are like, novel worthy. I swear to god it's like reading Harry Potter on crack, it's a joy to read over again and again. Just like a fanfic that hast updated in years, I always wanted more. But I get it, your in collage getting your degree and making moneys to feed your children and stuff, ain't got time for pokemans and Tumblr. and you keep doing that, get your educationals done friend! Honestly, the first post I made for when we were getting started was like, 'okay, I'll get a bit of background going about what's going to happen and set you up on the beach where you can take over, kay.' And then you come back with 'what makes a man stronger in the eyes of civilization and his innermost thoughts.' Like woah man, I can dig this but warn me about your Dali Llama wisdom. :P lol, I'm exaggerating a bit but still, it blows me away. Do what you love most when your done with school. Your going to be doing it for almost the rest of your life. Lysand-the-Pokemon-trainer ~ Ohhhh dearest me, we are getting to the first followers now. While you may not be around very much anymore, I still hold that one single RP close for being the first person to actually talk to me and start up a thread. I don't really have much to say but thank you for giving me the real confidence to essentially sit down and become one with the community. Like a random student inviting a new kid to come sit with them at the table for lunch. Being here with a friend that can show you around makes life so much more easier and enjoyable. Poketographer-crayla and Dragonqueenclair ~ you guys are no longer active but the same with Lysand, you two were also there in the beginning. You two may not ever come across this but I still feel the need to mention you guys for the experience. And finally, to all my followers that I have: Thank You. Thank you for this amazing time with me and Link-D and Loftwing and everyone in between. I'll still be around Tumblr, reading about science and skipping ads. Go ahead and follow the people I mentioned above. They are really great people.
