Crystal frowned slightly at the others confession. “Thats depressing.” she mumbled as she crossed her arms over her chest. “Are you sure you don’t need help thinking of one though?” she raised an eyebrow at her brother hoping he’d finally let her help with something. “I’ve decided I want to travel.” she announced proudly, hoping the other would join or at least agree with her decision.

“Happy new year!” she grinned widely at her brother as she linked arms with the other. “New year, new us right?” she tilted her head to the side her smile growing wider by the minute. “What’s your new years resolution, anyways?”

“It’s perfectly fine to wear a Christmas sweater until New Year’s,” Dorian said defensively, straightening his red sweater.

Crystal grinned widely at the other as she raised her hands in defence. “I full heartedly agree, i was just wanting to know where you got said sweater so i could make a purchase.” she chuckled softly before running a hand through her hair. “If i had the option i would keep the tree up all year.”

Casper: And you're in the house? Or are you somewhere else? Is there someone with you?

Crystal: Stuck in the town library. Their's another girl here, Rosalind. Hopefully the storm will be over sooner rather than later.

It wasn’t as though Rosalind had planned to come here. Her bike had given out on the way and she’d come in out of the cold with the weather getting worse, intending to phone a cab or get someone to collect it. As it was however, the weather had worsened leaving all the inhabitants of the local library stranded. “Definitely not my first choice but at least I won’t be bored and they do have that impressive fireplace in one of the rooms.” She admitted with a warm smile. “I’m Rosalind by the way.”

“Crystal.” she replied a small smile spreading across her lips. “I’m just hoping the power holds out long enough to surpass the storm.” she admitted as she wrapped her arms around her torso. “You’re lucky you got in when you did, it would be terrible to be stuck out there in this weather.”

Crystal groaned as the voice came over the loud speaker. She placed her hand in her head as she looked around the library. Empty. Basically anyways, the only other person nearby a girl. Crystal rose from her seat and made her way towards the other. Mustering up a small smile she took a seat across from the other. “Crazy place to get stuck right?” she tilted her head to the side as she drummed her fingers against the desk. “Hopefully someone has snacks around here.”

Casper: [waiting for his sister to pick up the phone] Hey are you in the house? I'm not going anywhere until this storm passes. I'm in the shop with Lucinda.

Crystal: I'm alright, just a little scared. Nothing less than what's expected during something like this. Please stay safe and warm.

“Yeah of course.” Crystal offered the other a small smile as she moved to help the other. “Crystal.” she corrected him, her smile faltered slightly before she shook her head and pulled herself together. “It’s okay it was a big class, I don’t blame you.” she tried to make the other feel better about the situation.

“Why are you doing that?Shouldn’t you be at school during the day?” Casper asked, “Something filling is my only requirement. I missed breakfast and I’m starving.”

“I’ve turned into a bit of a nocturnal creature.” she teased as she tapped the side of her head. “Honestly? the lights been giving me a bit of a headache as of late.” Crystal let out a small sigh. “Just trying to put my health first right?” She grinned widely as se linked arms with the other. “Let’s get pizza?”

“Why do you say that like we haven’t seen each other in ages? We live together, Crystal,” Casper said with a laugh. He knew that he had been pretty busy with the shop since it had been broken into and looking after his father who seemed to be worse than usual and he was hiding it from her, “I’m free for lunch. Let’s do it.”

“We’ve both been busy, it’s not anyones fault.” she shrugged her shoulders as she wrapped an arm around her older brother. “Between staying up all night and sleeping all day it does feel like i haven’t seen you in months.” she admitted as a small smile spread across her lips. “What do you feel like?”

“Okay but I swear it wasn’t me– it totally broke on its own,” Charles insisted after being caught practically red-handed. He hadn’t turned invisible quick enough to avoid questioning. 

Crystal’s smile grew as she made her way towards the other. She took the violin in her hands and glanced at the broken string. “Do you want the bad news or the good news first?” she tilted her head to the side before placing the violin on the closest bench. “It’s fixable, but you have to tell me how you managed to snap the string.” she chuckled softly at the other as he tried to lie his way out of the situation.

“Gee, thanks for that.” Lorelei all but scolded as the other knocked her cup of coffee all over her belongings and work on the table. “Maybe watch where you’re going next time to avoid making someone’s morning harder then what it’s supposed to be.” 

Crystal raised an eyebrow at the other as she watched the scene unfold. She let out a small sigh as she watched the individual who had knocked the drink over run away. She stood, making her way towards the red head. “Rough morning?” she offered the other a small smile as she grabbed a napkin and began wiping up the fluids. “Must be because of the full moon, all kinds of people are acting nuts.” she chuckled softly before meeting the others gaze. “Are you alright?”
