A beautiful 1968 Dodge Charger R/T at Sauk Valley Shifters Car Show and Swap Meet.

By the time this car came out, the extravagant tail-finned, rocket-inspired, two-or-three-toned styling of the 1950′s gave way to perhaps more carefully designed clean, sharp flowing lines and creases.  This car epitomizes the subtle styling of the era.  It looks elegant without the stripes that most of them were ordered with.  Its 440 cu in (7.2 liter) engine was officially rated at 375 horsepower (280 kW) at 4700 rpm but some people say it made quite a bit more.
