No Simon to be found where is he at... I think he's Somewhere in the afterlife. My current theory is that the afterlives are connected and Maddie will be able to go through them like the scars. I also think the reason the others can't just come back through is because their doors are one way unlike Maddie's or they need their keys (2/3 we've seen cross over left their keys behind)
Honestly the ONLY way I'll be able to be happy w them moving on and getting their doors is if they're connected or they can be with their partners... I don't think I can handle Quinn and Rhonda being separated forever even though Rhonda said she was okay with it...

The shot of the kids' windows was gorgeous, like most shots in this show, and I need it plastered everywhere. Loved the shot of the forest with the door- which, sidebar, i think that's where Peyton and Milo talked about seeing a bear, which is why I think they'll be able to connect afterlives. I'm very convinced about this theory so far. I also think Simon might be inside of one? Possibly the kids' afterlife, but I think Wally's is more realistic. But! This also means Van Heidt is probably in there as well, so it might be Wally/Maddie/Simon vs Van Heidt next episode...

Also! I fully thought Wally was an only child my only child senses were tingling for him but the concept of angst related to his sister is good so I'll let it slide. Lots of mysterious relatives popping up this season though, it makes me worried it's all for nothing and even Yuri's relatively hyped up and fight filled kid/grandkid reveal won't lead anywhere... which I honestly would hate, I do not like shows setting up stuff like that being sooo relevant to the character (his backstory, his DEATH, his scar, possibly his door, his relationship...) and then it leads nowhere. If anyone's relative will be revealed it'll be his, I'm sure of that, but I'm also worried it'll be for nothing anyways bc it'll be a new character in an already crowded cast (Nicole and Claire have gotten SO sidelined it's pissing me off) with an already complicated story.. just make it Maddie. Please. Or hell, just for shits and giggles make it Kyle???? I wouldn't care as long as it's nobody new/irrelevant.
