“Well we’ll have to see how much I enjoy it when we actually get to the villa. Perhaps I won’t like it then,” Octavia teased as she allowed him to lead her up to it, “Not that I have any doubt in your ability to go all out for my birthday, Theo.”

“Let me live, Tav,” he groaned before breaking out into a chuckle as they walked into the carefully decorated villa.

“I do. I love it so much!” Octavia said excitedly and reached out to grab Theo’s head and place kiss on his cheek, “Thank you, thank you, thank you,” She replied and opened the car door as soon as he stopped it, “Let’s go then, shall we.”

“Of course. I’m just glad you enjoy it,” he smiled. “Yes, lets,” Theo agreed, taking her by the arm and leading her into the villa.

“I didn’t mean to. He just decided to come up and hit on me and he couldn’t take the hint that I have a boyfriend.”

“I’ve made that mistake before. Stupid of him to do that.”

Octavia couldn’t help but laugh with him. He was definitely right. But she wasn’t always this impatient. Just when someone had to show or tell her something and it was taking along time for them to do it, “I think I might reconsider actually loving you if you’re lying about-” She was cut off by the sight in front of her. The villa, the fairy lights and the music that she could hear playing softly. Octavia didn’t even realize there were tears pooling in her eyes until she blinked. She wiped them away quickly, “It’s perfect, Theo,” She turned to look at him, grinning. “It’s perfect thank you,” Theo had done many different things for her birthday. Taken her to see her favorite movie in the cinema, to a restaurant that sold her favorite foods, a picnic in the park, one year he’d taken her to a bowling alley that had an arcade in it too. They’d had lots of fun here. But this? This was probably the best so far. Very few people had done something so grand for her before. In fact, at that moment she couldn’t think of anyone.

The look on Octavia’s face was worth all the effort he had put into bringing this all together, "Do you really love it?” he chuckled, pulling up to the villa and parking the car. “I was hoping you would,” Theo smiled, looking over at Octavia once more, “Happy Birthday,” he added softly.

“I’m not gonna work on my patience and you know it,” Octavia replied, sticking out her tongue at him. She scoffed teasingly, “Or it could be because I’ll punch them in the throat,” She smirked, “You’re just too cute for me to do that,” She teased. She huffed again and slumped a little in her seat, arms crossed, “You suck,” She mumbled. But then she perked up at him saying they were almost there, “Finally.”

"Ironically enough, you’re too impatient to,” he chuckled, seeing her stick out her tongue in the rearview mirror since he was focusing on the road. “I’m flattered that’s the one thing keeping me safe,” Theo continued to tease. “I do suck, yes. But you love me anyways,” he joked, taking another turn. And there it was.

Theo had turned the corner to a lovely villa. It was rather secluded, and it had a large garden surrounding it. Something that set it apart from the now dark landscape, for the sun had set as they had been driving, was what seemed like millions of fairy lights hanging over the patio as if to mimic the starry night. Everything twinkled and soft music played from the villa out to the patio. “We’re here,” he said with a confident smile.

Octavia sighed and rolled her eyes, “You tell me that every year on my birthday, Theo,” She paused and couldn’t help the amused smile that crossed her lips, “You’re the only one. I guess you bring that side out of me,” Octavia watched out the window as they neared civilization again. She was starting to think that he was just gonna take her to the middle of a field and leave her there. Although she knew he’d never actually do that, “It might,” She replied, keeping her gaze out of the window.

"Think of it as an extra birthday present. That way you know for sure you’ve still got to work on your patience,” he joked, “Only me? Really? That’s probably because everyone’s too afraid to tell you in fear you’ll get impatient with them,” Theo continued to tease her, laughing softly. “May it? Well shame, since I won’t tell you anyways,” he chuckled, as they took another turn and began to drive to some place on the outskirts of the city, “If it makes you feel any better, we’re almost there.”

“Fine,” Octavia said with an exaggerated sigh and another pout. She knew that it would be worth the wait because Theo never held back on his surprises and she always loved them, “I will because I know it’s true,” She said in a somewhat triumphant tone, knowing very well that she was right. She shrugged but nodded. He was right after all. She had been looking for some new lingerie and she had definitely whined to him about it knowing that he would eventually get some for her, “You know very well I won’t be the only one enjoying it, Theo,” She teased. As they made a sharp turn, her brows furrowed, “Can’t you at least tell me the general area this surprise is in?” She asked.

"Well that I can be sure of,” he teased back at her comment, laughing at her confusion. He could see her furrowing her brows in the interior rear-view mirror. It was undeniably adorable, “You’ve got like zero patience, Tav. Has anyone ever told you that?” Theo chuckled as he took another turn, nearing a place with lots of twinkling lights and soft sounds. There were definitely nearing civilization again after driving through fields for a good twenty minutes. “Besides, giving you a hint of the ‘general area’ won’t help you guess the surprise,” he chuckled.
