She smiled when she said that “yeah?” believing her since she was an expert. “Thank you - thank you.” she said softly.Â
“Yeah,” she gave her a sincere smile “I want you to be happy, so you don’t need to worry.”

She smiled when she said that “yeah?” believing her since she was an expert. “Thank you - thank you.” she said softly.Â
“Yeah,” she gave her a sincere smile “I want you to be happy, so you don’t need to worry.”
She nodded when she spoke “I just - love him so much you know? And he’s older than me - he could easily just dump me and move on” she whispered. “it just takes one thing for someone to dump someone.” she squeaked.
“I know you do, it does, it takes one thing but it also doesn’t have to take one thing. This was something he did wrong, you never did anything wrong. That’s what I’m trying to tell you. You deserve to be happy and you deserve to be in the right when someone hurts you. You need to stand up for yourself, you’re important.”
“Awesome for you, glad she has you here, then,” Rowan said, not in the mood to talk to the brunette. “I know why she came to me upset, too, but I’m not going to sit there are call her boyfriend a piece of shit when she was telling me a very vague story with limited details and she got mad at me for it. I was sitting with her, I was consoling her, I was listening to her, but she got upset because I wasn’t treating her like a victim. Oh shut up! My fight with my sister doesn’t concern you!” The blonde let out a deep breath at that, shaking her head. “Fuck you,” she let out coldly, “My parents died. My parents, who by the way treated me like a less than desirable daughter because I was gay, died. Parents Riley and I shared. Parents only Riley was able to mourn because I had to go on a fucking manhunt for my twin sister who up and vanished after they died. Still didn’t get to mourn once I got here because Riley still refuses to talk about them. So you know what? Fine, call me a cold bitch. Your opinion means shit all to me.”
Peach knew that Rowan knew Peach was right and now she was bringing up her past and everything to deflect from the real issue. “You didn’t have to call him a piece of shit, no matter how vague her details were, all she needed was for you to take her side, which you’ve never done. She’s told me a lot. You know why? Because I’m her therapist. And have been for a long time.” She said “and I’m her friend too, her good friend who needs someone to stand up for her.” She was calm, but stern. “But, if Riley wanted you to call her boyfriend a piece of shit, even if he was the best guy in the world, you should fucking do it.” She said “because that’s what siblings do for each other, that’s what friends do for each other. “You weren’t doing any of that, you disagreed with her and you’re acting like her being a victim is something bad. When it’s not. This is not about you!” She said to her “it’s not about your parents dying, or your parents not liking the fact that you were gay. No matter how you both mourned. You bringing all of that stuff up, is you deflecting because you know I’m right and you hate that. You have never been there for her. You can tell me to fuck off. But how about you grow up. How about you take her side for once.” She was angry at her. “How about when you kept all Luca’s secrets from Riley, all his deceit? And anytime he lied to Riley you took his side? I’m sorry, but you’ve never been there for her. You make it about yourself and it’s time to grow the fuck up and start realizing she needs a sister, not another enemy. Because that’s what you’re making yourself. You can try me bitch and think I don’t know anything, but I do. I know everything. I’m a fair person but you are not being fair to her. Think about that. Stop being defensive, get over your bullshit, say sorry and be there for her. Don’t say you wanna leave here without her. No matter if you fucking chased her down to be here. You should chase her down! You should do anything for her.”
“I really like you, too,” Liv giggled.
She smiled at her “you’re really cute, let’s just go back now, I want to ravish you.”
“I don’t think that’s any of your business to be making judgements about,” Rowan snapped, glaring to the girl who was basically claiming to know her sister better than her, “Wow, cool. I’ve known her since before we were born, I still would say I’m winning on the who knows her better thing.” She rolled her eyes, shaking her head. “She came to me upset and got mad at my reaction, as usual, then called me a cold bitch because my way of handling situations is different than her way,” she deadpanned, “She’s not alone. She has Bodhi, they’ll kiss and make up soon enough. What, so we can go back to me looking out for her and her not giving a shit what’s going on in my life? Yeah, who wouldn’t want that.”
Peach laughed “just because you’ve known someone their entire life, doesn’t mean you know them.” She said “Riley has confessed things to me that i know she hasn’t told you.” Being her therapist she would have. “I know why she came to you upset, and she had a right to be upset. And what she needed was her sister to be there for her, not give her an opinion she didn’t want to hear. She needed her twin sister that has been there for her, her whole life, like you say.” She said “She didn’t want to handle things your way, she wanted to do things her way, because that’s how she was feeling.” She said showing her that it wasn’t all about Rowan. “She doesn’t have Bodhi right now, because maybe if your sister is upset, maybe it’s not about you.” she said. “You’re very bitter, and you? Being so willing to leave her here because she didn’t take your side, and didn’t like what you said, makes you a very cold bitch.” She shrugged “So she was right to say that to you.”
“Yes please,” Liv let out with a grin, “That would be amazing.”
She smiled wide “it would, I really like you.”
“Uh, no,” Rowan let out, “She’s made it very clear she doesn’t need me and to be honest, I’m kind of over the whole looking out for her thing since all she thinks I am is a cold bitch. I’m sorry, do I know you?”
Peach was taken back by her words “clearly you don’t know your sister very well,” she said “I’m Riley’s friend.” She said “I knew her before we were both in here. So let me get this straight. You two had a fight, which most sisters do.” She said. “And you would rather leave her in this place, alone. Than try and work things out once both of you calmed down?” She asked.
Liv took a deep breath as she left the restaurant, enjoying the fresh air and the breeze. “I forgot how much I like being outside.”
“It’s nice isn’t it, we should do this every day, get a nice walk in.”
“I guess it’s about time I start seeing how long I have to be here before I can take Eden and find an actual apartment,” Rowan nodded, the fight with her sister making her realize that she needed to go do her own thing.
"I don’t know,” she smiled at Rowan “would you take Riley with you if that happened? I know she’s a toy in here.” She asked, she knew RIley was having a bad time.
Liv stood, nodding her head. “Okay,” she grinned, “It’s a nice day out, too, so it’ll be nice for a walk.”
She smiled “yeah it is,” she said taking her hand and walking out with her. “really nice.”
“he loves me.” she insisted. “he wouldn’t put up with me if he didn’t - like boys don’t put up with whiney crying girls if they don’t love them.” she said wanting to convince Peach that Bodhi and her were good together. “he was just – stressed.” she said “and he called me Emily because…maybe I triggered something.”
“Of course he loves you, but he doesn’t put up with you RIley.. you’re important, and you’re an amazing girl. It doesn’t mean he doesn’t love you.” she said softly. “Doesn’t matter if he’s stressed, it means he was thinking about her and that’s something you two need to talk about. It doesn’t mean you don’t love each other. But I want you to know that this isn’t your fault. That’s one thing girls forget, they always blame themselves when in reality they did nothing wrong.”
“I don’t know –” she whispered. “I genuinely don’t know how to fix it because it’s not a case of someone saying something horrible - he just – called me her name and ; it was horrible but it wasn’t a horrible thing to say - do you know what I mean?” she whispered. “Like he didn’t call me a bitch or something he can apologise for and say it was in the heat of moment. I think I might prefer that. This opens – something bigger and I suddenly feel like I’m right back to when we first met and the insecurities about his life were eating me.”
“THat’s a big thing though, you need to ask him where his mind is truely.. with her, or with you. I know it seems hard, but you can’t put your effort into something only one person wants.” she said softly. “It was a horrible thing to say. The entierty of it, horrible. I understand she was important to him, but during a fight -- he should be thinking of you..” she nodded. “The relationship, in my opinion, doesn’t seem healthy.”
“I just – want this feeling to stop, you know?” she whispered. “feeling like – everything is a weight, I feel so heavy.”
“I know,” she said “you need to make some changes, you need to really talk to Bohdi, I know he’s the master, but it’s a relationship and you don’t deserve to feel this way.”
“I’m in my pyjamas and socks – I can’t go out.” she whispered. “how do other people manage stuff?” she whispered. “everyone seems to be – keeping it together and everyones going through stuff?” she whimpered.
“So what? It’s the best to take a walk in your pjs” she smiled “I have some extra shoes if you want” she said. “You;d be surprised how many more clients i got in here.” she said “a lot aren’t holding it together.”
She rubbed her face and shook her head, trying not to be mad peach forgot her parents were dead. “i’m fine - i’m fine.” she repeated. “I’m good, i’m happy. This place is my choice, I chose to be this.”
“You know I’m here for you,” she said softly, she pushed closer “this place can make a person feel trapped. I can take you out, go for a walk, get some air. Away from here would help.”
“I just want my dad –” her voice cracked. “And I’m stuck here, with my only friend being my old therapist, my sister seeming not to know how to make me not wanna burst into tears and a boyfriend who calls me the name of his dead wife. I wanna go home – i wanna go home.”
She bit her lip, choosing not to take that personally. “I could take you to see your dad if you want.” she asked softly.
“Course it is - like, let’s not pretend anyone in here gives a shit about the mental health of the pets -” she laughed coldly. “like, oh there’s a nurse on call - thank god, because I might fucking scratch my knee.” she rambled in coherently.Â
she frowned “you know you can come to me Riley, what happened,” she was worried about her friend.
