In keeping with my latest theme, #bodypositivity - this is a closeup if me, no makeup. No filter. You see my freckles, sun damage, melisma, and irritated redness from just washing my face. Also, tbf, Im a a little dry and haven’t put on moisturizer. We have to show real here on social media, and make “real” ok too! There’s nothing wrong with makeup and hair being on point, but let’s not forget the person underneath needs love, support and appreciation as well. (at Baltimore, Maryland)

Choosing today’s photo was incredibly difficult. I wanted to post photos that are accurate representations of what I look like without editing, but I still find it really hard and uncomfortable to do. I do feel like posting pictures that have no editing, no filter, no make up, no special outfits important because I feel like I’m giving myself permission to just be me, and be OK with that. We don’t get to see ourselves as we are very often on social media. This photo I took as a before and after I’m doing to track my weight loss journey. I struggled with my weight because I’m at the top in the regular and the bottom end of class and nothing seems to ever fit me correctly. I don’t like my waistline, my legs or my arms but I know that they’re a part of me and they make me who I am. I struggle with self acceptance like everyone else and at my age you think I’d learn by now LOL. (at Anaheim, California)

My legs need the same sun as my arms 🤣. About 9 weeks out of ACL replacement & meniscus repair surgery. Couldn’t bend much more than 90 degrees but it’s gotten better over time. What should I do to cover up the scar? Hmmmmm some kind of knee tattoo? (at Detroit, Michigan)
