how it all feels lately
I miss you so very much
Joy Sullivan, from “Sockeye”, Instructions for Traveling West
“Listen, everyone has a chance. Is it spring, is it morning? Are there trees near you, and does your own soul need comforting? Quick, then—open the door and fly on your heavy feet; the song may already be drifting away.”
— Mary Oliver, from “Such Singing in the Wild Branches,” in Owls and Other Fantasies: Poems and Essays (via endless-unfolding)
daily affirmations
whoever annoys me will die
I am perfect
I am capable of killing people with my mind
Andrea Gibson, Lord of the Butterflies
older people who own or have a significant role in a fairly large company are so passionate about clicking links on phishing emails and then entering their credentials and or card numbers and then getting incredibly annoyed at IT when we have to call on a weekend and tell them they’ve been compromised
MARY OLIVER
mary oliver, staying alive
somehow though belly, at 26 is absolutely thriving in the midst of the chaos of this year and yet again carrying the weight of my own grief and constant feeling of impending doom for all my loved ones
Maggie died, pickle got kicked in the head 2 weeks later knocking himself out cold making me think he was dead too, somehow he literally just woke up on the drive to the emergency vet like nothing was wrong and has been fine ever since, Bobby coliced horrifically last week and my sister got a puppy. hello 2025
Impossible that my girl is gone. the house is devastatingly quiet. I will love you forever Maggie. no creature has left such an overwhelming hole before. you are entwined with every fibre of my being and you always will be. Thank you for making me laugh for nearly 9 whole years, I know you were meant to go but I didn’t think it would be this hard
