I've been making myself crazy over cowboy Midgel for DAYS now so uhh....barmaid Posie? 😗 seems like a good parallel to her being a waitress at the Comet Lounge, maybe the outfit is a BIT risqué for a kids show (and a christian one at that) but its cute so!

is this a safe space to admit that despite being a huge fan of sharing f/os, I still sometimes feel intense jealousy when someone is "more well known for" self-shipping with a character I also f/o.... or if they generally get "more attention" than I do...

I fully understand that this is a MY problem and not a THEM problem, and with time and practice I've gotten a lot better at not acting on my jealousy or letting it obscure my other thoughts and feelings. in the realest way ever, I hold no ill-will towards anyone who shares an f/o with me, and I'm not entitled to anyone's attention, especially the nebulous "popularity" that my jealousy is seeking, like adoration from literal strangers LOL. but it kinda sucks knowing I still have those jealous feelings, even when I'm managing them in the healthiest way I possibly can 😔

TYSM!! also BROOOO THANK YOU FOR ASKING. I need to talk about Bobbie's background stuff more LOL. I had to think about it for a sec and I realized I've never shared this info publicly but it's so important to how I see him.....

Bobbie is a highly trained pianist! she took rigorous courses all through her childhood, long before she burst into the weird butchy obviously autistic thing she is today. as an adult, he doesn't really enjoy playing piano, and he doesn't advertise the fact that he has formal training and education. however, her experience and understanding of music theory and all that good stuff still serves her, and she really enjoys playing electronic keyboards and studying synthesizers. his favorite instrument to play is a keytar, which she is comparatively the least experienced with lol but it makes her feel sooooo cool. TL;DR: his level of skill/education goes piano > electronic keyboard & synthesizer > keytar. but her level of enjoyment playing each instrument is inverse to that!

OMG HI BESTIE!!! I love this question, I talk so much about their favorite films and tv shows that I just never talk about their other hobbies </3 thank you for asking!!!!

Cathal is very into Metroidvania style games! I literally can't remember why I gave them this head canon but it still rings true to me, I can't explain why... I so clearly see him carrying around a limited edition GBA in his pocket and barely even trying to hide the fact that he's playing Metroid Fusion during meetings lol

Bobbie will play anything with licensed superhero player characters, like a Spider-Man or perhaps a Batman... she prefers less gritty/grimdark entries though, and if the game has a branching story line or negative consequences for poor performance, she will Immediately reset when she gets an outcome she doesn't like. or if a nameless, faceless civilian NPC gets hurt LOL. I think his favorite would be TMNT: Turtles in Time heehee

OOH they would be so fun to watch play a multiplayer game together... they're pretty good at co-op games and know how to communicate and problem solve together, they just want different things... lmfao Bobbie installing one of those really clunky and joyless skateboarding mods to GTA 5 and spending hours trying to force a single trick while Cathal collects one of every object or some stupid shit like that. if we're talking competitive multiplayer....Bobbie talks a big game but Cathal can win with her eyes closed, no matter what they're playing lollll

HEHE THANK YOU 💗💗💗 also that is such a good question omg...🤔 they do get each other gifts for sure, I'm just such a bad gift giver in real life that I struggle to write characters giving good gifts LOL. but here's my best answer:

money is literally no object to Cathal, so I like to think that they're generous in a very nonchalant/careless way, like they don't necessarily intend it to be very personal or meaningful. like "dude you should play this new game with me... oh you don't have the console for it? ok I just ordered one for you. it's a limited edition bundle so it comes with the game... I did same day delivery so it should be there in a few hours... hit me up when you get it =__=" (<- isn't really thinking about how this will make the recipient happy, it's just easy and convenient) I think he would get Bobbie some equally expensive gifts, but they'd come with invitations to spend time together or connect in some way! like a set of REALLY NICE gold charms for his choker - maybe sun-shaped or star-shaped - that Bobbie can wear next time they go out somewhere nice 💗 or!!! she remembers Bobbie going crazy over the classic Thomas & Friends soundtrack and trying to replicate the synths on her keyboard, so she gets her a Roland Jupiter-6 (the now antique synth the show's composers used)... on the condition that Bobbie plays it just for her some time, heehee 😁

Bobbie doesn't have that much money to burn anymore LOL, and Cathal can just buy whatever it wants on a whim anyway. Bobbie will still get fuzz some little treats, like cute y2k-flavor clothing/accessories, maybe a nice new dress that fuzz wouldn't have thought to try, CDs of fuzzies favorite albums, old VHS box sets of shows fuzz enjoys (bonus points if they have little quirks specific to that release that Cathal can study, like an altered dub or different color grading lol). but for the most part, Bobbie would focus more on helping Cathal celebrate in a way that they wouldn't have gotten to enjoy before ;__; Allan is very sweet and all but I imagine Cathal's birthday parties have always been REALLY extravagant and overwhelming. (I'm picturing a DisneyWorld-style theme park day but Cathal is forced to meet every costume character LOL + giant party at the end of the night with all of Allan's friends/coworkers and all their annoying kids in attendance...) so her main birthday gift would be Bobbie coordinating a nice but low-key outing! like we're gonna meet our friends at the park for a lil picnic with your favorite goodies, or we're going to the arcade at its quietest hours so we'll basically have the place to ourselves, etc. Cathal still gets to go out and do something special and be doted on by loved ones, it just won't be excruciating or impersonal 🙂‍↕️

Hi.

I don't really do love letters to much but I thought I'd give something like this a shot. So here goes.

I enjoy spending a lot of time with you... more than I'd like to admit sometimes which sounds bad when I say it but it usually comes from a place where my emotions are flatter on the outside but are, uh.. bigger on the inside? I think that's how it goes.

That and whenever you talk about your day, the things you like, whatever, it just makes this security job bearable. I mean, a lot more bearable.

So where am I going with this? It's long-winded as hell but I just wanted to say how much I care about you as a partner. You're the best that's ever been and honest to cog, I don't think I would've been genuinely happier if I wasn't with you.
