Bella was feeling the regrets show up way earlier than expected.
She went over the top for a so-called ‘casual meet’ up.
She couldn't let her nerves get to her. A three week long mission wasn't that bad right? She was surely over-reacting. Mista had gone about his daily life as normal without her and just wanted to meet up. That's it.
Bella was way ahead of the scheduled time given to her by Mista, the idea of being objectively late not sitting right with her.
She walked the streets of Naples clad in a strappy ankle length dress that was a beautiful mix of teal and orange, seemingly painted onto her the way it showed off every curve in just the right way. Her hair was swept over her shoulder, brown curls falling waist length down her back with wispy dark fringe framing her face.
She even did her makeup, light brown eyeshadow that matched her eyes along with eyeliner and mascara all tied in with a daunting maroon gloss.
Her brows were furrowed in concentration as she followed along the directions a civilian told her. She wanted to make sure that this was absolutely the place Guido was talking about.
She grips her satchel a little tighter and her black strappy heels click as she turns down yet another street. Her walking trudges to a stop as she's faced with a green door. A golden plaque beside it reads out the name.
Libeccio. This is it.
She glances around and raises a concerned brow at the obscurity of the restaurant, looking like your usual hole in the wall but decides it's better not to judge.
Pushing the door open, she's greeted by a rush of warmth and her shoulders unknowingly relax by reflex. Her chocolate eyes look around and marvel at the establishment. The place is beautiful, traditional and old-timey, but ultimately a home. The host, a young gentleman behind the counter looks at her with a hint of recognition in his eyes and quickly motions her to follow them.
Bella’s even more confused, but follows without question.
Her heels click as she follows the shorter man to an ornate corner of the establishment, a booth and table with candle set. A quick glance around the room tells her that this is the only table like this.
Soft music playing in the background and the sounds of other patrons reach the ears as she walks. Sliding into the booth the empty glasses in front of her are filled with cold water and she’s offered wine, declining and preferring her plus one be here before getting anything.
Her waiter, Corzetti, she learned through an introduction, dressed in a white blouse under a black vest and matching pants. He takes the bottle back graciously and as he walks away Bella hears him grumble about a ‘stupid mafioso cant even show up on time’.
That explains everything , she thinks and she can't help the giggle that escapes. The owners must know Guido. That would surely explain the odd treatment compared to everyone else. Bella rests her elbows on the table, lacing her fingers and resting her chin and lets her gaze settle out the window.
Mista pants, his feet carrying him towards his second home, a place he treasured ever since the first time Buccellati brought him there. He bought Bella here so maybe she could feel the same warmth as a bask in the pleasant atmosphere. Maybe this’ll help her relax?
Bella was sent out on a 3 week mission to France, finally making her way back home two days ago. He couldn't pass up the opportunity to see her again.
He didn't think the long distance would be that bad, duty calls, right? They were both mafioso working in the same organization. He could totally relate to being called out for so long. If it weren't for the fact that all communication had to be cut off completely between them.
He remembers the phone call the night when she told him, throwing him a little bit of information, the rest being highly confidential.
Mista grimaces, a sudden realization dawning over him through those past weeks.
He missed her. Really bad. So bad to the point that it disrupted his work flow. The bullets became more snappy, whining and complaining more than usual. Guido, god he hated anyone who called him that besides her, became more stern and uptight.
Why does he miss her so much? He doesnt feel this type of feeling when he doesn't see Narancia for long, and they're friends. What makes Bella any different?
Mista's mind raced as he got caught up trying to decide if it would be too formal or unnecessary to bring flowers if it wasn't a date. After all, it was just a meet-up between friends. But then again, he'd already booked dinner for them, so flowers wouldn't be too much of a stretch.
Shifting to a halt, he straightens himself up in front of the towering green door of Libeccio. Mista lifted his arms and took a quick sniff, and takes a quick wiff of his breath to make sure he didn't perspire too much during the run. Then he pulls on his brown, loose slacks, pats down his black button up, making sure two buttons are left unbuttoned, and smoothes down the black beanie he bought for the occasion and finally tops it off with a million dollar smile.
The door of libeccio is pushed open and Mista’s eyes catch the host's unamused expression who turns to walk to the tables without a word. Mista runs to catch up with him, bouquet in hand and feels the glares of the cooks on his back as he gets closer to his destination.
Bella's attention was suddenly pulled away by the loud, echoing footsteps getting closer. Her eyes flicked toward the door, the sound growing nearer, and before she could make sense of it, Corzetti pointed to the table briefly, announcing the table number as if Mista didn’t already know it was his. With a casual glance in their direction, he walked off, leaving them to themselves once more.
Mista’s eyes didn’t leave Bella as she stood up, her movements graceful, but there was something more to it—something that made his heart skip a beat. Their eyes locked, and he couldn’t help but feel an unexpected jolt, like the ground beneath him had shifted.
He stood frozen for a moment, a shiver racing down his spine, a sensation he hadn’t anticipated. His chest tightened, his breath catching slightly as he found himself momentarily lost in the depth of her gaze. There was a pull between them, something magnetic, and in that instant, he couldn’t believe his eyes.
They embrace, and Mista can swear he feels his heart flutter. He makes sure the flowers don't get crushed, holding them out. He breathes her in, catching a faint smell of her floral shampoo. God, has it really been only three weeks?
As they moved toward the table, Bella caught a few praises and whistles from the busboys behind the counter, their voices low but full of admiration. “How does he pull that off?” one of them muttered, and Bella couldn't help but chuckle softly at the attention.
Mista let out an exaggerated sigh, rolling his eyes as he walked beside her. “Don’t mind those assholes,” he grumbled, trying to brush it off, but the slight tension in his voice didn’t quite match the casual tone he was going for.
Bella glanced at him, her smirk playful. “I think it’s the other way around, don’t you?”
Mista shot her a look, his lips quirking into a reluctant smile. “Yeah, yeah. Keep that up, and they’ll start thinking I’m the lucky one.”
“Maybe you are,” she teased, her voice light, but her eyes softening just a bit as she bumped his shoulder gently with hers.
The two pull away and a light blush is evident on both of their faces. “You look amazing, cara,” Mista says, presenting the bouquet of vibrant red tulips tied in brown foil out to her. She politely accepts them with gratitude, “I could say the same thing, bello,” she replied, moving a hand up to cup his cheek, kissing it. Mista sputters.
~
“So,” he began, his tone shifting to something more casual, “how’s it been?” They’ve long sat down with freshly filled wine glasses and menus. The restaurant offered her a vase to put her flowers in.
“Busy as usual. But it’s not so bad. I’d rather be here with you, though,” she replied, her eyes brightening as she spoke.
Mista’s heart fluttered again, and for a moment, he felt the rush of emotion he had been trying to hide. “Same here,” he said quietly, taking his seat across from her. “But I think we both deserve this—just some time to unwind.”
He leaned back in his chair, glancing around at the familiar, cozy setting. The dim light, the quiet murmur of the other patrons, and the warmth of Bella sitting across from him—everything felt right. This was exactly what he needed.
“Anyways,” Mista dragged out the word, hesitating as he tried to find a way to bring up the topic. It was clear he was dancing around something, and Bella could tell exactly what he was getting at.
“How was your trip?” he asked, trying to sound casual, though the underlying concern was evident. It didn’t take a genius to know what he was really asking about.
Bella didn’t shy away from the question. She kept her gaze focused on the menu in front of her, her fingers absently tracing the edges as she spoke. “It was fine,” she replied, her tone flat and careful.
She paused, her eyes narrowing slightly as she seemed to weigh her next words. “Classic espionage mission,” she continued, her voice lowering to a near whisper. “All traces and connections cut. Had to follow this guy... creepy bastard walked on all fours and acted like an animal.” She shuddered, clearly still unsettled by the memory.
Mista raised an eyebrow, leaning in slightly. “Sounds... intense,” he said, trying to imagine the scene she was describing.
Bella nodded slowly, her expression turning serious. “Yeah, it was. He obviously had multiple mental illnesses stacked on top of each other. But his boss... he was far worse.”
She leaned back in her chair, her face relaxing into a smile as Corzetti approached to take their orders. Bella shifted her attention, the topic suddenly becoming a distant memory as she greeted the the young man warmly.
Mista, though, couldn’t shake the unease from the story. He leaned back, glancing at her carefully, unsure if he should press further or let the conversation slide. He noticed how easily she transitioned out of it, how practiced she was at compartmentalizing the darker parts of her life. It made him want to know more, but he also respected the distance she kept when it came to her work.
The waiter cleared his throat, waiting for their order, and Mista quickly decided to let the topic rest—at least for now.
Corzetti left them once again, having placed a platter of freshly made bruschetta on the table—on the house, of course. The scent of the tomatoes, basil, and toasted bread made Bella’s stomach rumble, and she couldn’t help but lick her lips as she reached for a piece.
Mista watched her for a moment, amused, as she took a bite. "It's truly beautiful, and tasty," she said with a satisfied smile after finishing the last bite of bread. "Feels like coming out to visit my nonna’s house,” she added, her voice soft as she reminisced about the comforting memories.
Mista smiled in agreement, his gaze turning fond. "I know, right? Those guys might seem like they hate me back there," he said, throwing a thumb over his shoulder toward the kitchen, “But it’s all not true. My gang comes here all the time to eat. We’re like family.”
He took a bite of his own bread before continuing, “We protect the area for them, and they feed us as payment.”
Bella chuckled, leaning back in her chair slightly as she looked at him. “That’s truly honorable of you, Guido,” she replied with a teasing smile, her tone playful but sincere.
Mista waved it off with a shrug, brushing it aside as nothing. “Eh, it’s just how things work,” he said, though there was a hint of pride in his voice. “They take care of us, so we take care of them.”
Bella smiled, her eyes softening as she watched him. “Still,” she said quietly, “not everyone would do that.”
Wanting to know more about his time, she changes the topic yet again. “How’re you? How's everything been?” and he sighs, lifting a hand on his forehead dramatically and she giggles.
“I’m great, now that I've seen you after so long,” he winks and she feels her heart skip a beat. “Nothing much has been happening, so you haven't missed anything really,” his voice trailed off in thought. Bella waits for him patiently to gather his thoughts, taking the newfound chance to stuff her mouth.
“Oh right,” Mista speaks up, breaking the quiet that’s settled between them. “Buccellati wanted to take framed photos of us all together.” He says it casually, but Bella’s attention shifts as the name registers—his boss, the one who always seemed to care a little too much about the team.
“He’s such a mom,” Mista jokes, laughing heartily as he leans back in his chair, the humor light but somehow bittersweet.
Bella chuckles softly, shaking her head. “Don’t be so hard on him,” she says, her voice gentle. “You never know what can happen, with our type of lifestyle, that is. And you know he loves every one of you as his very own.” She shrugs her shoulders, tracing absent patterns on the table with her fingers, her thoughts drifting away.
Sometimes, her mind wanders to another life. A life outside of the organization, far from the dangers they face every day. She imagines waking up in his arms, their mornings simple and soft, making breakfast together, picking out ingredients for dinner, living a life that wasn’t marked by tension and secrecy. Traveling, seeing new places with him, sharing moments without fear of what tomorrow might bring.
But then the thought slips away, and she realizes it’s just a dream. What she has right now is enough—more than she ever expected.
Mista’s mood shifts, and Bella notices it in an instant. It’s as if a switch has flipped, his demeanor going from lighthearted to something more serious. He puts a hand on his chin, his gaze turning contemplative.
His dark eyes meet hers, and there’s a depth to the silence now, one that wasn’t there before.
"For instance," she says, her voice a little softer now, wanting to drive her point home. She reaches into her satchel bag, her fingers brushing over the cool metal of her keyrings before pulling them out to show him. The small trinkets clink together as she holds them up, the sight of them seemingly grounding her.
Mista watches her, his expression unreadable for a moment. She can see the way his mind works, how his gaze softens as he takes in the sight of the keyrings, something so simple yet somehow so meaningful between them.
“These,” she continues, her fingers wrapping around the keychains as she holds them between them. “This is my world. It’s not much, but it’s mine.”
Without hesitation, Mista picks up the plushies and examines them curiously. "Where did you get these from?" he asks, gesturing towards the domo and hello kitty characters on her bag. He's never seen them before.
"My boss gave them to me on my first mission because I did a 'good job'," she remembers with a fondness in her eyes as she thinks about the past event.
Adrianna continues speaking softly, her fingers lingering on a delicate pendant. “I just love things that make you instantly think of people. Or stuff that captures memories and makes you think back to them. I'm a mosaic of everyone I’ve ever loved.” she gestured towards the collection of keychains.
“And while I don’t have any pictures of anyone, at least not yet,” Bella said with a sly glance up at Mista, her words trailing off as she uttered the last part. “Sometimes, it’s those little moments that matter most.” She tilted her head, eyes searching his face for a second, and there was a vulnerability there that Mista hadn’t expected to see from Bella.
Mista listens to her reverie, staying silent. The sounds of the bustling cafe fade into the background as Mista's attention is solely focused on the girl's soft voice, his thoughts quiet and contemplative as he listens to her memories.
“Narancia gave me an orange the last time I saw him because I was hungry. Now I think of oranges everytime i see them.” she laughs as she remembers.
Mista chuckled along with her, enjoying the glimpse into her memories. He glanced at the keychains again, noticing the intricate details on them.
"I get what you mean. Little things can hold so much significance sometimes," he remarked, a thoughtful expression crossing his features.
As he leaned back against the wall, he couldn't help but wonder about his own collection of mementos. Sure, he had his share of weapons and bullets that held their own stories, but nothing quite like the innocent charm of a plushie or sharing food.
Lost in his thoughts, Mista's gaze drifted back to her bag, where the colorful keychains dangled.
His thoughts keep racing back over one thing.
Give her something that not only captures a wonderful memorie, but is something to also remember you by.
“We should capture memories.” He suggests. He reaches over and places a warm hand over hers.
A soft smile washes over her face and she nods.
“I’d love that.”

Conversation passes between them like normal as they eat their entrees, deciding to skip dessert as Guido warned Bella not to get the strawberry cake even though that's the only thing she wanted. He promises to buy her something when they leave.
An empty wine bottle now sat between them, Bella’s glass being the most drained between the two.
Guido asks Bella about her garden, which is a golden ticket to get her talking. The florist helplessly falls victim to his trap as she goes on and on about her prospering flower buds.
Somehow, she started sharing facts about the pretty tulips he gifted her.
Bella drags her fingers over the red silky petals, a light blush on her face. “Tulips signal the arrival of spring,” she informs, voice brimming with passion. She tilts her head up and catches his intense gaze.
Dark, half lidded eyes stared back at her with the softest gaze ever, filled with so much adoration. With his head balancing on by his hand he twirls his fork in his carbonara. He watched her like she was the only one in the room. She’s sure he hasn’t picked up on a single word she said in the past seconds, yet she stays completely unfazed.
Maybe it was the wine.
“They’re also called ‘true love’s tulips,’” she goes on to say, her voice softening as she speaks, “They’re used as a confession for love.” Her blush deepens as the words slip out, and she quickly looks down, suddenly shy.
This seemed to snap him out of his daze. Atlast, he sits up and stops his fork, lifting it up to his mouth, grining. “I knew they were the best when I saw them. I thought of you right away.” he says, biting down.
Bella chokes on nothing.
It had to be the wine.
~
The food was amazing to say the least. Authentic and made with love. Mista pays for everything even after Bella’s complaints, but he lets her tip. Satisfied with a full belly, gathering her flowers, they both give farewells to the staff and walk out.
The streets of Naples are more familiar to him, so he guides them. Bella basks in the gentle glow of the sun's rays, her arm wrapped around his.
Slowly, they amble towards the crowded town square, exchanging casual conversation as they go.
Guido had given his word and promised Bella two things today. A sweet treat and a picture. She's sure he’s long forgotten about the former as they stroll the lone roads to the main plaza.
It wasn't an outright promise but she still feels a pang in her heart thinking about it.
As they get closer, the scent of food and the sounds of live music from street artists become more apparent. Young kids run between them and couples converse and hold hands around them. Mista leads them toward a gelato stand.
Bella closes her eyes and hums in satisfaction, holding a small cup of gelato in hand guarded by a load of napkins to fight the cold. Mango, her favorite. Mistas right beside her stuffing his mouth as well, opting for the classic chocolate cone.
Guido choose a seat that gave them a panoramic view of the square and the golden sun dipping below the horizon. They eat in a comfortable silence, people watching.
The two of them sit side by side on the bench, Guido puts a hand around her shoulder, bringing up the sudden drops in temperature because of the sunset, but they both know the true meaning behind it. Their ice cream cones have long since been consumed.
She listens to Mista ramble on if either the fruit of color of an orange comes first. She chuckles, Guido never failing to share his obscure thoughts. She relaxes further in his arms and basks in his warmth.
Bella's attention is drawn to a little girl who is pointing her mom towards a tall black black curtained silver box with purple writing on it that is positioned right in front of an arcade she guesses from all the flashing lights.
She squints, trying her best to read what the words spell out. She curses herself, choosing to abandon her glasses for the sake of a cute outfit.
“Photo booth,” Mista reads outloud, catching onto what she was squinting at.
A photo booth.
Simultaneously, the sound of a camera goes off.
Both their necks whip towards each other, matching grins and mischievous glints in their eyes.
~~
The photo booth is tiny and cramped.
Bella slides in, Mista right behind her.
She squints, trying to read the blurry and scratched off rules and directions painted on the inside of the booth.
Mistas wrapped his arm around her yet again, complaining about the tight fit. She doesn't seem to mind at all.
She rather prefers it, his touch comforting.
His hand rests on her thigh, his thumb rubbing up and down absentmindedly and she finds it hard to focus on what's in front of her.
She was close enough that he could feel the heat of her skin, the rhythm of her breath. And yet, despite the lack of space, the closeness felt... comforting, in a way he hadn’t expected. He could smell the faint sweetness of her perfume, feel the warmth of her body next to his.
Bella eyes two gleaming buttons, bright and obnoxiously calling out for any customer's attention. A blue button had text that states ₤5 for two pictures , while the red one beneath it says ₤10 for 4.
Simple enough, she thinks.
Guido’s already fished out a ₤10 lire from god knows where and pushed it into the slot.
She clicks the red button for confirmation and a countdown from ten starts on the screen.
The countdown only causes chaos to ensue. Bella immediately starts fixing her hair and removing any lint on her dress. Mista laughs, reminding her they won't even be able to see down there while making silly faces in the camera as she struggles.
Three!
A robotic voice speaks up, announcing the last few numbers.
Two!
She giggles, sneakily putting up bunny ears behind Mista’s head. He swats her hands away.
One!
He turns and kisses Bella’s cheek.
Bella smiles with her eyes closed.
Snap!
The countdown starts from 10 again.
Bella’s too busy to notice as she kisses his jaw, then his cheek, and his cheek again. Her cherry lipstick leaves a mark and he pulls her against him tighter.
The robotic voice chimes through again,
Three!
“Shit, what do we do?” his voice low and lovely, mutters from above her, shy of her ear. Bella shivers.
Two!
Bella turns her head to look at Mista,
One!
“I love you,” Bella says, for his ears only.
Snap!
Mista freezes.
The cliche sound of a snapshot being taken fills the booth as Mista slowly turns his head towards her, mouth wide. He feels like he's gonna explode.
She laughs, thick lashes fluttering at him coyly.
He can't help his own smile when he grabs her chin, pulling her into a kiss, her love returned in full. It only took a few seconds before she was kissing him back.
The camera flashes again, capturing the moment as they pull away, breathless but smiling. Mista’s heart still races in his chest, a rush of warmth spreading through him as he looks at Bella, her eyes sparkling with mischief and affection.
"Guess we’re gonna have some weird photos to look at later," he laughs softly, still holding her close, his hand brushing through her hair.
Bella chuckles, her lips curving into a smile. "At least they're ours," she says, her voice soft and filled with meaning. She rests her forehead against his, feeling the steady rhythm of his breathing, as if this moment could stretch on forever.
Mista doesn’t answer right away, his lips hovering close to hers. Instead, he reaches for the photo strip that has just printed out, glancing at it briefly. The pictures are a mix of silly faces and tender moments—the two of them caught in the midst of something unspoken but real.
He can’t help but smile at the one where Bella’s lips are nearly brushing his, her eyes closed in a way that makes him feel like everything is exactly as it should be.
"Yeah," he murmurs, his voice low, "they're perfect."
Bella looks at the photos, then back at Mista, her gaze softening. "I love you," she says again, as if it’s the most natural thing in the world.
Mista’s smile deepens, and he leans in once more, pressing a soft kiss to her lips. "I love you too," he whispers back, his heart full.
As they pull away, the booth grows silent, the air still filled with the warmth of their shared moment. The outside world feels distant, as if nothing else matters but the two of them in that little space, together.
The door to the photo booth slides open, and they step out into the world, hand in hand. The night is still young, and though they don’t know what comes next, they know they’ll face it side by side.

. . . Maybe agreeing to go out drinking with you was a terrible idea after all.
Hijikata came to the conclusion that night. You invited him out for drinks under the pretense of 'it's friday, fuck it. let's drink to forget' or something like that. The both of you sat at the bar, ordering your share of drinks.
You've been working in the Shinsengumi for quite some time. . .Not like he's really talked to you or held a conversation besides greetings. He knows as the only female desk worker that it's hard and being surrounded by hundreds of scrawny men, you are bound to be thrown through the loop. Especially by the fact you are not bad to look at anyways.
Nonetheless, he's never really seen you out of your element besides. . . working he guesses. Seeing you actually talk (not that robotic voice with the pasted on smile) is really refreshing. Your smile isn't that bad to look at.
You ran shots back to back, obviously ignoring the burning tinge in your throat. 'Drinking to forget' my ass he thought, more like drinking for fucking liver failure. The more you drank, the more comfortable you got with him. Brushing shoulders, sometimes even bumping his knees. He admits, he's a little tipsy, but how the hell aren't you damn near dead yet? Sighing, he rubs his temples.
The hardest part was trying to distract his eyes from you after you unbuttoned your work blouse a few buttons too low (is that a lace bra you're wearing?), complaining it was 'burning up in here'—-allowing him the view of your chest. Glancing at anything lower than your face was a hassle, and not wanting to risk you calling him a pervert or 'hey , my eyes are up here fucker!' he persisted on through the night.
Now, Hijikata is a respectful man.
With that said, He . . decided it's best to not pay you no attention to you. It's normal, he thought.
However, what's NOT normal is this intense flirting.
"Now that I can really look at you, you're pretty darn attractive," you mutter as you surveyed his features. Making no attempt to hide your interest as you swishing your drink around in your hand.
"You're drunk," Hijikata bluntly states, sighing as casted you a quick glance, before looking back ahead at seemingly nothing.
"M' not, I'm just speaking the truth," you reply indifferently, the spiral forming in your drink more interesting.
"You're not drunk? So all those shots 2 minutes ago were just water-"
"You're missing the point! If anything, you should be thanking me!"
"Um. . . okay. Thank you?"
"You're oh so very welcome," you coo, before turning your body towards him,
"Can I kiss you?"
A short pause . . .
"W-What's with the sudden topic change?!"
Lowering his tone, Hijikata sweat drops. He's really losing his composure over you and your mindless teasing. Taking a swig of his drink, he gives you a one over waiting for your reply.
"It's a yes or no question. I can take no as an answer, I understand boundaries," you reply, peering your eyes over your glass. You lied. You'd never take no for an answer. Imagine having to take his paperwork after missions knowing he rejected you?
"Well, i can answer for you," you mumbled, taking a step off your stool as you tucked your hand to the back of his head, you guided him by the hair down towards you. With heavy lidded eyes, and parted lips; Your lips were a ghost apart. Touching, but not kissing. You could sense the anticipation radiating off of him.
"Or maybe not," you smile, as you pull away, turning your body back towards the bar and holding your hand up for the waiter.
"What the hell." God he could use a cigarette right about now.
"I'm sorry, what's the matter?" you finally turn back to reply after ordering another drink, shifting your focus onto him.
"What the hell was that?! Why did you– just stand there. . ."
"All I wanted was your honesty. Did you want the kiss or not?" you question.
"Cut the teasing bullshit, I think i've made my intentions clear,"
"So. . . Is that a yes or what? You've never even said anything-"
"Yes dammit!"
God just put your lips on his already–
As if reading his mind, your lips crash onto his, your hand back again on his cheek as your other feels him in by his collar. Both your lips lock in a desperate, rough, needy kiss, shooting trembles all throughout your spine. Hijikata's hands reconcile on your waist, one exploring even further down to god knows where. His touch felt burning hot against you.
You moan, as Hijikata bites your lip in greeting, both of you exploring each other in this very moment alone. In fear you two might get kicked out for public indecency from how far this kiss was going, you pull away although reluctantly. The both of you pant, lips still a ghost apart as you mutter in between shaking breathes,
"How far do you wanna go tonight?"
"As far as you'll let me,"
——
Following Hijikata's long strides ended you both up in the public bathroom. Opening the door and offering for you to go in first (how manly), he follows after you not before locking the door with a distinguishable click. Hijikata turns around and looks at you intently, both of you waiting for the next move.
Before he knows it, you're once again grasping his collar and kissing him, his hands automatically snaking around your hips and pulling you closer.
"Put your hands up." Hijikata orders you like he orders his men.
You oblige, raising a questioning eyebrow as he unbuttons the rest of your shirt, helping you loop your arms out of it.
'It really is lace, black lace at that' he marvels as he kisses your chest, letting you resume.
You continue your trail of kisses slowly down to his jawline, placing a flurry of kisses before you descend down to his neck, taking your sweet time as you nestle your head in the crook of his neck, breathing in the scent of his signature fragrance of smoke. You unbutton his shirt to get a view of his chiseled chest, continuing the train of kisses. You crouch down as you slowly but surely make your way down to his pelvic area, your hands resting on his belt.
You glance up, looking for a sign he doesn't wish to go this far, but to your satisfaction, you're met with his desire ridden hues peering back down at you. You continue.
You unbuckle his pants, and as they pool around his legs, you focus your attention on getting the last layer of his forsaken clothing off, not without noticing the prodding dent in his boxers.
"Oh, someones excited to see me, huh?" You giggle, happy to see he's enjoying it just as you are, earning you a grunt in acknowledgment. Looping your fingers around the elastic line, not wanting to waste a moment longer, you pull them down.
From above, he peers down at you, taking grasp of your hair, itching with anticipation. With gentle touches, you take a minute to appreciate him in his full glory. Vice-Commander of the Shinsengumi letting you suck him off in a bathroom?
In an attempt to clear your mind, you busy yourself with the task in front of you as you seize his cock in your hand, rubbing your thumb over his leaking tip. You slowly trailed your tongue from his balls to tip. Stopping on the tip, you suck on it before making an audible "pop" from your mouth.
Your hand replaces your mouth on the tip as you slowly massage it. Your mouth moves to sucking and placing sloppy kisses on the side of his cock.Your hand progressively starts to get faster as your mouth is now occupied with his balls. Humming as you go, you don't fail to notice Hijikata's grasp in your hair gets tighter the longer you go.
Ready for another change in pace, your hands and mouth switch spots again, your hands now fondling his balls whilst your mouth takes on his fully sheathed cock. Placing the needy tip in your mouth, you swirl your tongue around it, catching Hijikata's half lidded eyes, before sinking down every inch.
Peeking above to see Hijikata's eyes closed in content. His eyes suddenly peer back down to yours, before nimbly noticing and wiping the tears that nestled in the corners of your eyes.
"You're doing such a good job, baby." Hijikata praised, hands now caressing your cheek.
Slob begins to ooze out your mouth and onto your chest the longer you go. With quick movements, you grab Hijikata by the hips and make him bottom out in your mouth. Seemingly getting the message, his hands reach back for your hair as he begins face-fucking you.
Grunts of pleasure spill out of his mouth the longer you go. You could feel him twitching in your mouth. Everything on you felt wet and sticky. You bob your head back and forth as you take Hijikata down your throat, adding your hands into the equation as you stroked him as you sucked. Using your tongue, and deepthroated him, going so far that you wouldn't gag yourself.
"S-shit–", Hijikata sputters out between pants.
Noticing the tell-tale sign of him coming, you pull out completely, grinning in response to his startled face. His sex quivering in desire.
"You fucking tease," he growls, scoffing as he helps you off your knees.
"You love it though," you hummed in response, trying to shimmey off your skirt while Hijikata searched his pockets for a sacred golden packet. Hands coming out empty, he silently curses to himself for not packing them out of all times. Noticing his silent struggles.
"Aha," you quip, finally noticing what's missing, before digging into your purse and pulling out what he wanted."Need this?" you giggle as you open the packet with your teeth and get on your knees again, rolling it onto him.
"Thank you," he sighs, as you respond by placing a chaste kiss on his cock.
You rejoin him up above by placing another hungry kiss against his lips, as you loop your arms around his neck. He yanks one of your legs up as he aligns himself to your entrance, slowly sliding in between your slick folds. Pinning your bare back against the wall, he slowly snaked his hand around your throat. Jolting his hips back, he completely bottomed out inside of you. You let out an uncontrollable mewl, while he lets out his own stream of curses into your ear.
"Fuck, your so tight, baby."
Your legs were barely able to stay still as he showed no mercy to the thought of stopping. The sounds of skin slapping filling the vicinity of the bathroom He leaned down towards your ear, still going at his cut throat pace."Does that feel good, baby?", he whispered, the heat tickling you. "You look so good with my hand around your throat", he grunted, letting out his own share of moans.
God he was fucking you so well. You could barely get words out—
Abruptly, he slowed down his pace, leisurely rocking his hips into yours. Catching your ear in his mouth and peppering kisses to the side of your face. The change in pace so sudden gave you a moment to catch your breath before he pulled out almost completely, before slamming back in.
"F-uck— I can't—!" You gasped, throwing your head back. Your nails sure as hell leave marks on his back after this. You only heard a groan response before he quickly took advantage of your exposed neck and jawline, leaving marks of pleasure.
He advanced to linger deep inside of you, hitting your g-spot right on. And to top it all off, he slowed down, dangerously slow from the pace you started with.
Your legs were damn near about to give out, hell, you could barely feel them.
"L-lift me!" you try to get out as best as you can, before you quickly jump and put your other leg up. Hijikata's hands held your thighs up as he continued to ram into you with no problem.
"Right there—!" fuck you were so close. A smoldering heat was building up in your core, the longer he went. His dirty talking only furthering it.
"Cmon baby, come for me," Hijikata grumbled out, beads of sweat trickling down his temple as his husky voice resonated right next to your ear.
A needy moan spilled out your mouth as he cupped your breast, brushing over the nipple with his thumb. went on the hunt on one of your nipples, sucking, pulling and biting at one before going to the other. One of his hands flicked your clit while he was still inside of you. You writhed beneath him, crying out pleas for him to never stop.
"C-coming–!" you heave as your orgasm hits you head on. Your head was dizzy with lust as you contracted around his cock, you felt delirious. Every nerve firing off in ecstasy as your eyes rolled into the back of your head. Hijikata huffed, cursing under his breath as he rocked into you, spilling his seed into the condom.
Heavy pants filled the room as you both rode out your high's, your eyes fluttering as you leaned your head onto Hijikata's chest as he held you against him.
"Are you okay?" Hijikata questioned as he kissed your forehead.
"I can't feel my legs. . ." you mutter out, running your fingers through his sweat slicked hair, still clinging to him.
"Who the hell is in the bathroom? I needa go!"
Both yours and Hijikata's eye's lock in bewilderment.
. . .
"Uh. . . give us a second! I mean– give me a second!"
nsfw, mdni. reader and ex-husband natsuo finally get intimate 😌….reader has breasts/vagina
“Be honest,” Natsuo says through gasping breaths, tugging at the bottom of your shirt dress and pulling it over your head in one fluid motion as you lift your arms up. Eager to feel his body pressed against yours, you push your chest in his direction and his arms wrap around your waist. “How often have you thought about this?”
You gasp, uncertain if you are more surprised by the question he’s asked or the way this all feels so familiar. His touch brings you back to a place you haven’t been in years, at home with your thoughts and in your body, and he smirks as he begins to kiss down your neck.
“How many times have you stuffed whatever little toy you hide in the back of that drawer inside of you pretending it’s me?”
Antagonism was never Natsuo’s strong suit when the two of you were still together, his dirty talk sweet and sexy but never this possessive. Never this raw and lustful. You arch your back and shiver as he grazes the skin above your pulse with his teeth.
“Well?”
In any other situation you’d roll your eyes at his demands but watching him nip at your collarbone and the fat of your breast makes you whine. He deserves to know, you think, all of the time you’ve spent with your fingers inside of you wishing they belonged to your ex-husband, the father of your children, the love of your life.
“Every time Natsuo,” you are breathless and your voice is pitchy and unrecognizable. Need is laced in every syllable and he chuckles against the buttery silk of your nicest bra, the feel of his breath making your nipple pebble. He bites the hardened bud through the fabric and you gasp in response, his deft fingers unhooking the strap behind your back.
“I thought about you every time too,” he teases, releasing your nipple with a lewd pop and you look down to admire the shine of his saliva over your skin. Too afraid to call his bluff you just nod, tipping your head back as he wraps his lips around your sensitive nipple once more. You’ve always liked that.
“Fucking my hand raw,” he breathes, his voice low and dangerous and making you hot from head to toe. “It has never been the same as the sweetest pussy I’ve ever had.”
His words make you moan, brows knitting together as he mercifully continues his exploration of your body. Bra removed and breasts freed, you look down to see him drinking the sight of you in with all of the reverence of a man meeting a goddess.
“As beautiful as I remember.”
Natsuo’s free hand taps once on your hip and you move a few steps backward toward the edge of your bed, his body quickly filling the space between your legs as he leans across your nude torso to kiss you.
The feeling of his lips on yours for the first time in nearly a decade sends you spiraling, greedily mapping out the corners of his mouth with your tongue as he gently bites your lower lip. Fierce and needy, you feel your hips buck toward the impressive bulge in Natsuo’s unfastened jeans and he stills you by wrapping his hands around one of your hips.
Watching as he sinks to his knees, draping your legs over each of his shoulders, his heavy lidded eyes meet yours as you look down and watch him peel back the slick soaked fabric covering your pussy.
“I had to wait…” he stops, leaning in to dip his tongue between your sticky folds and you moan at the contact. Wanton, not like your usual self. Withdrawing his tongue, he groans and you can tell he’s palming himself through his pants.
He sets his jaw and you are stricken by how intense he looks, eyes narrowing.
“Eight…” he leans in, licking another stripe, removing his tongue long from your flesh enough to speak.
“Long…” you arch your back as the tip of his tongue grazes your aching clit, the contact sending chills through your body as he smacks his lips appreciatively.
“Years…” dipping his tongue inside, you swear you could cum on the spot. Soak his face just like you used to and how he used to love but as you feel yourself careening closer to the edge, he stops and raises one of his hands to slap your wet clit. You groan, mouth open wide as he raises himself enough you can see his whole face and not just his eyes from his position on the ground.
i think the reason why i fell so hard for gintama is the way the narrative intertwinged the humor with the tragedy and the tragedy with the hopefulness. there's tons of comedies out there that have serious arcs and have their loads of sad and heartbreaking moments in it but gintama is different imo because the seriousness and the tragedy are present like a shadow in every single moment of the show. i feel like if you take a random sitcom and take away the jokes the plot is just normal show without the laughs but in gintama if you take away the jokes youre just left with the crude and painful reality without nothing to conceal it anymore. throwing the first random example i can think now here but as an example theres that one episode where sadaharu runs away because gintoki and kagura ate his food. the scene plays as something funny but thats because watching kagura and gintoki eating dog food is just so hilarous and 100% is something those dumbass would do. but then you think how the real reason why they are eating that is because they are really short of money at the moment they dont even have money enough to pay for food that they only way out is eating their dog's, which is just insane. thats just one of the millions of details the show throws at you showing how pitiful reality in edo is. but again, this scene is just played as a joke and ur meant to laugh because gintama is a comedy!!! even when the whole setting of the story and the lives the characters are really poor! and yet the narrative still manages to show you the characters finding their footing and managing to find ways to not wallow in despair because whats important is that no matter how terrible the world can get there's still good things to hold onto, even if they are the smallest things (like fighting for the breakfast you eat in the morning!) anyone else would consider silly and irrelevant because they still give you hope and happiness that are enough and worthy to wake up every day
