can you please help me? sometimes i want to write something but when i search it almost nobody likes it and i don't know happens that i discourages me to write that thing, I've heard people say that likes don't matter, but they do to me. 😭 how can i stop thinking this?

tbh i don't even know what to answer to this 😭😭😭 to reassure you: likes also do/did matter to me! i think most people would be lying if they said it didn't. BUT i did get extremely lucky for the most part; ig algorithm ? idk TT

but then again; i think the thing that i can recommend is balancing what you want to write, who you think your target audience is and what said target audience wants to read. once you balance that out it mostly tends to work out, just see where the demand is ?

but in the end: i do recommend doing what you want to do (+it's more fufilling then forcing yourself to do things you don't want to !) as there will always be someone who wants to read said work..... e.g there will be times where I search up works that i want to read and there's pretty much none (ehem.. rue bennett works.. i might get on that #need) so you never know!
