Gary was almost positive that someone was currently following him and was up to no good. Why else would someone be following him? Had someone discovered what he truly did for a living? He knew that he had to find some escape but instead found himself rounding a corner and bumping into someone, quickly looking his shoulder before latching onto the girl’s hand. “You have to come with me right now, if someone sees us together they might assume you’re a target too. I’ll explain later but you have to trust me right now.”

Alice was startled when she had felt someone bump right into her and even more so when he grabbed her hand. The blonde had hesitated to follow along after him but did so anyway. “ I’m sorry but.. what’s going on? “ she asked, as she looked over her should for a brief moment. “ Is there someone following you? “ she asked in a more hushed tone.

The last time Alice had gotten stuck in a strange land the queen of hearts almost had her head. While it seemed that nothing like that  would happen again it didn’t make the blonde any less confused. With a sigh Alice plopped herself on the nearest bench and rested her chin in her hands. “ Why, I wish I had some answers to what was going on. “ she pondered out loud. When she saw something appear from the corner of her eye she jumped up in surprise. “ My goodness. “ she breathed out, “ Have you been there the whole time? “

“This freaking sucks,” she said out loud, crossing her arms over her chest. Clearly Tina Tinkerbell was not happy if her frowning pout was any indication. “How the hell am I supposed to get ANYWHERE without my wings? Honestly, legs are the slowest form of transportation. And, I’m big and fat on top of that,” she complained. “Carry me.” She honestly expected to be carried at this point.

Alice blinked over at the girl, slightly confused by her words. Normally people didn’t just have wings but if this place was anything like wonderland then anything was possible she supposed.  “ Beg your pardon? You lost your wings? “ she questioned. “ Oh, how terrible. “ she replied with concern.

Gary knew there was no chance of him leaving the shop tonight considering how bad the weather had gotten over the last few hours. The streets were mainly vacant which made them appear even creepier with a ghastly glow cast over them due to the gleam of snow that was building. Nothing really caught his eye until he noticed someone out there in the cold, eyes widening. Was he just seeing things? No, there was a girl out there. Without hesitation, he quickly opened the shop’s door and pulled the blonde inside the warmth of the indoors. “I’m sorry ‘bout that, I hope I didn’t scare you but… it’s getting really bad out there and I think you should probably stay in here at least until things lighten up a bit. The news said it only takes fifteen minutes of exposure to get frostbite with how cold it is.” He explained, concern lining his words.

Alice had been attempting to hurry back home before the storm hit but it had appeared that her efforts were in vain. The blonde had pulled her coat in closer to her, in an attempt to keep in her warmth. Quickly without any warning, Alice felt someone pull her by the arm into a fairly warm room. Her eyes were wide with surprise at first but she quickly eased up once she realized that they had good intentions. “ Thank you. “ she managed out. “ I was trying to get home before the snow storm but I guess I was a little too late. “ she replied, looking down at her hands bashfully.

Alice hadn’t known her secret Santa recipient that well at all. Since Alice was almost always surrounded by books she couldn’t think of a better present to give to someone. She had picked out some of her personal favorites, wrapped them up and tied them all together with a sparkly red bow. When she had finally found her secret Santa she approached them with a smile on her face. “ Oh hello! You wouldn’t happen to Meg? “ she asked before extending her hand out towards her. “ I’m Alice Lidell your secret Santa! I hope you enjoy these! “ she replied sweetly.

Accountability wasn’t exactly something the boy was used to, but it was nice to have someone there for him no matter what. Elliot couldn’t help but let out a lighthearted chuckle as he looked Alice over once more, still taken aback by how wonderful she looked. “ Of course I do, I think I’m singlehandedly the luckiest guy in the room. ” He offered a hand out toward her. “ Shall we dance? I haven’t danced in years but we may as well put those years of ballroom dancing my parents signed me up for to good use, no? ”

The smile that was already on her face grew even more. “ That is far too sweet of you, Elliot. “ she replied. She didn’t even hesitate to take his hand as soon as he offered it. “ I would absolutely, love to. “ she replied. She then gave a playful curtsy before giggling.

Evan nervously rubbed the back of his neck before blinking in surprise by the fact that she didn’t see the person sitting next to him that he did, “ I… um, don’t know. Maybe I’m losing my mind? ”Antidepressants had strange side-effects but delusions had never been one that he had encountered in the past. “ Are you sure you don’t see anyone there? ”

The girl couldn’t help but feel a bit bad for him. Plenty of people had accused her of being out of her mind and it was far from fun. She shook her head in response, “ Not a single soul, unfortunately. “ she replied.

Henry let out a small drawn out sigh as he nodded his head in an empathetic manner, “ I’ve never understood it either, usually it’s because of their own bitterness and insecurities. Misery loves company, isn’t that the saying? They don’t change either when they get older, but the world doesn’t look onto those who are cruel… karma always gets them in the end. ” He explained, offering the other a small reassuring smile. “ Perhaps I can do something to help cheer you up?”  

Alice nodded as she listened to his words of wisdom. She didn’t really wish any ill will on those that had hurt her, however did wish that they would to treat others with respect. She blinked up at him once she heard his offer, slightly surprised. “ Are you sure? Well, only if it wouldn’t be inconvenient  for you. “ she replied softly.

Charlie was half sprawled over the counter. There was definitely sugar in their hair. “That depends on what our end goal was.” Still, if it was the picture on the box they knew it was definitely wrong. “If we were going for an uneven shack we may have nailed it.”

While it might not have been the most attractive gingerbread house, Alice found that it had character. Besides the taste was all that really mattered anyway. “ Well, I like it! It’s different. “ she noted optimistically. “ Who wants a gingerbread house that looks like all the others anyway? “

Alice wasn’t quiet sure why she agreed to go on a blind date but she had. The blonde tugged on her curls as she waited for her date to show up. Her eyes scanned the crowded room and she let out a bit of a sigh. Maybe he wasn’t going to show up at all and she got her hopes up for nothing. It wasn’t until she spun around and nearly collided with the starnger that she realized that he had in fact came after all. “ Oh my goodness it’s you! “ she replied with a bit of a giggle.

The little blonde had felt terribly foolish as she attempted to keep her balance while on the ice. She couldn’t count how many times her and her sister had gone ice skating together during the winters and yet here she was now, feeling as if she were a newborn calf. “ You know I used to be quiet good at this, now i’m not so sure I ever was. “ she confessed before giggling.
