“Would you like to insult one of them?” Her head nodded towards a group of guards gossiping with each other. It had been so long that Cadence indulged in harmless mischief, too occupied being a mother, wife and queen. She cleared her throat and promptly called for one of them.
She turned to the brunette with a mischievous smile, excitement trickling inside. “You may say whatever you’d like without any consequences. Do your worst.”
