A surprise came to the newly minted Master, a force of two spirits in one catching her unawares. Ah, she thought, she must have called forth Nicola Tesla. However, when her vision cleared from this dazzling display, she was taken aback by what she saw instead. Rather than one body, there were clearly two!
The air had a slightly oppressive quality about it, reminding her of the days she spent with her horrible family. The anticipation of something awful to come; the cold feeling going through her body when it did. And of course, she found out why rather quickly; Phobos and Deimos â greek myths in the flesh. While her knowledge was more based off of her motherâs homeland, even a woman like Ophelia went through her Greek myth phase, if only to expand her knowledge of available spirits she could call forth.
Still, she felt as if these two might have suited someone else more, even if she couldnât remember who.
She held put her hand to them, smiling grimly.
Her voice, steady and clear, called to them. âI am your Master, Ophelia Phamrsolone.â Her voice shook a little at the end, but she plowed forward, ever strong, ever prideful. âPhobos, DeimosâŠwelcome to my side. I hope you two shall become the chariot of which carries us all to victory.â
âThe Areioi Hippoi is ready to answer to your command, Lady Ophelia.â Less stubborn than his brother, Phobos stepped down from the summoning platform to come closer to their new master. He had to admit, there was something interesting about her, standing proud in the face of terror itself. This was going to be an interesting partnership.
âAlthough my brother would probably want to know what our plan is. Are we for hit-and-run shock tactics, frontline warriors, or reserves in the off chance something goes wrong in our mission? While we are Divine Spirits, we are first and foremost soldiers, to go in without a plan is not in our nature.â
Quickly to the point, like lightning. As to be expected of the one who wielding some of Zeusâ lightning. And like thunder that follows lightning, Deimos let out a grunting sound in agreement of his brotherâs question. They knew each other well, and were in agreement on this.
It was clearly a test of sorts, to prove her worthy of their aid in this matter. Her strength and pride was enough to summon them here, but now she had to properly solidify the pairâs allegiance in their Spirits, not just their Minds or Magical Contractual Obligation.
