Last one for now! Benjamin was going to be my last Hispter Cat for a while, but then I got commissioned for these two hip cats. They don’t have names or stories like the first three, but I did get permission from the commissioner to make altered versions of these two to add to the official series sooo... that's something that’ll probably happen in the future.

Since the Trico piece, I wanted to work on something a little more casual. And thus the Hipster Cats were brought to life. This is Arthur. He only drinks French Press coffee and can't BELIEVE super hero movies are still a thing.

My favorite part about this piece is that I did it RIGHT after Trico and you can tell my hands were still in “feather” mode from how I cut out his fur. XD Oops.

Brand new card design, woooo!!! 8D I am SO happy with how this design turned out!!! I’d been really avoiding a CMC design ever since they got their cutie marks because OMG, their cutie marks are SO insane. @__@ VERY labor intensive to make in cut paper. At one point I was considering going through with the design without the cutie marks, but I’m happy I put in the work. Totally worth it!

Full Disclosure. I hated Princess Cadence. I hated her SO MUCH. She seemed like a merchandise cash-in princess with no real value.

And then I started re-watching episodes for inspiration and I accidentally fell in love with her (was that her plan all along??). She’s awesome. Best MLP princess after Luna. I love her and I worked very hard on her card! I love how it turned out!

An example of one of my Discord cards! This is actually a relatively older design that I’m working on redesigning. I’ll keep making this version until the redesign is finished.

One of the things I LOVE and HATE about this design is the text. I use a heat embossing technique to make each word (or letter) in a different font and color. It’s perfect for Discord, and a total nightmare for an artist making these by hand! XD The colors of the words and the font etc. change for every card!

OKAY! :D So one of the more exciting commissions I got from Everfree NW was a commission to make a cut paper badge of the Bronycan mascot, Princess Apricity! :D The commissioner mentioned wishing he could get her in all of her seasons, and after some research... omg. I found that she changes every season. I loved the design!!~ And, as sometimes happens with me... my work on the badge snowballed.

Note: The commissioner in question won’t incur any extra charges. I got caught up into it, and the badges depicting the other three seasons are a gift to them. This was so fun to work on!!
