Fell behind on posting art fight attacks, to no surprise lol A little more ambitious with aseprite this go! The character is Estela, who belongs to soubivee on artfight!

Art fight!! I picked up aseprite a couple months ago, so I decided to do some simple little animations playing around with it to start! Ill be away at a convention for a few days, but I'm glad I got some done already! :) Risa, the girl, belongs to user "MatchaMoonlight" The chicken belongs to user "clovercantdraw"

I often like to challenge myself to make a new OC in time for art fight, and this time I made hard rules to create a male OC and also NOT lean on blue/pink/purple lol

I think he turned out cute! I hope he gets some attacks this year. I'll definitely need to add him to my tomodachi life island! 😂

Partially because it is a character reference sheet #normally Id have drowned it in colors for fun but I kept it so simple this time so I wouldn't see a ton of “I hope the colors are right” lo #which i get but! I mention every time that I don't mind color shifts.#also yes i got tomodachi life and it's just a bunch of my OCs #and then a TON of my fan ships im trying to get to kiss LOL #genuinely helped develop a few of the OCs I didnt put much thought into though #like yeah. Vivian probably does have good posture. Ami WOULD motionlessly glide around looking high as fuck too. Great lore additions.

I don't think I've posted an update since day 1000, but I finally hit day 1500 in (mostly) daily gesture drawings! Really didn't think I'd be going this long haha. Here's days 1200, 1300, 1400 & 1500!

I hope for more stocking screen time in a s3!! :)#unrelated to that I did some lace details with the outline fx on the lace layer and I hate how much my own brain--while working on this #--kept going “oh this looks like AI” since the outline would look a little borked and the details aren't perfect.#I feel bad for any artist who does frequent detail work but doesn't want to get carried away in perfection #deadass one of my goals is to let myself get messier to take out some perfection stress #its why my stuff is getting a bit more painterly looking and Ive been using a rougher brush #so I hate that there's that line there when it gets too messy and instead of “it looks bad” im just like “looks fake” :(#anyway. fun piece to work on overall. Stockings design is so good!
