I see we followin through on EVERY plot thread in this finale

#was gonna give context but frankly i got a migraine and i got shit to do so either you get it or you gotta rewatch the series again #anyway good finale liked it a lot #SPOILERS down here btw #wasnt expecting jax to just straight up die. or. “die” i guess #good thing i watched this in the worst context possible so none of it actually got to me #still got mild chills at some points tho such as the aforementioned purple rabbit man scene #some of the scenes were really great but felt unearned cause we didn't spend any time with the characters #i think it does balance that a bit by making sure the sidelined characters get smaller moments than say jax pomni and caine #like pomni and ragatha's moment is bigger than zooble and gangles' but smaller than jax's or caine's. so points for balance #kinda crazy how they managed to telegraph that jax's origin was that he (seemingly) killed someone honestly im impressed #alright fine you get lazy context. zooble said “i want the ability to have sex” in the gun episode i think #woohoo caine overcaine his homophobia #the amazing digital circus #tadc #glitch productions #glitch studios #tadc zooble #tadc ragatha #you get one (1) lighthearted original post before i go right back to current events

As great as the peace deal sounds, after watching Palestine for the last 3 years I am hesitant to trust it. Please don't forget about Iran just because the war may be over. There is still a devastating number of lives lost or upturned, and if the US goes back on its word like usual, that's only more lives lost and upturned.

I have watched just enough Supernatural to believe by default most of the claims about what's in it. Like the determining factor of how believable I find a claim usually has more to do with the necessary special effects budget than the insanity of the content, and even then, a lot of shit happens off-camera. "Castiel shows up naked and covered in bees on the hood of the impala" sounds like a shared hallucination, but I saw the episode where they mentioned that happening so I know it is, in fact, canon.

Someone could post like, man the finale really walked back a lot of stuff we hashed out during Dean's mpreg arc and I'd just be like. Guess so.

Anyway, on this front I am kind of surprised that no one has successfully goncharov'd a fake season or two of SPN by now.

While protestors were chanting "No Jim Crow", white Tennessee lawmakers were caught laughing on video. On top of this, Representative Justin Pearson and his brother KeShaun Pearson were arrested for trying to give their takes on the matter (which is not only their legal right but literally his job). If you give a shit about black people, help fight this. We can't allow a return to Jim Crow.

I don't know how to express my simultaneous feelings of relief and shame at this sham ceasefire in Gaza, after all this death and suffering. This shouldn't have happened. The genocide in Gaza has been broadcast live for two years, yet the world turned its back on its people. This ceasefire is merely the beginning of what will undoubtedly be a long struggle for a free Palestine and the return of its people. We must all remain hopeful, and more importantly, do more.

some advice for people entering their 20s:

-dont go to the emergency room with dental problems. go to the dentist

-bagged greens are cheaper than pre-made salads

-taco bell is NOT worth the money anymore. 1/4 cup mayo, 1/4 cup sour cream, 3 tblspoons pickled jalapenos+2tblspoons of the jar liquid, 2 tsp paprika 1 tsp cumin 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder salt+pepper. all in your blender. creamy jalapeno sauce

-dont quit your job unless you have a bunch of job interviews lined up immediately after

-use resources. food bank, unemployment, housing assistance, financial aid, etc. yes there will be paperwork. but Do It

-dont stay awake longer than 20 hours. you Will start to become impulsive and cranky. resting for 20 minutes is better than trying to stay awake

-for every 2 hours you spend looking up close at screens, spend 20 minutes looking at something far away from you. stretch your wrists a lot

-dont do that yoga stretch where you roll your head around your shoulders. youre grinding down the joints in your neck

-be nice to your friends, bullying them as a joke gets old. if you need a ride somewhere at least offer them gas money

-brush your teeth at any time of the day but especially before you sleep. dont snack in bed if you can help it. make your bed the Clean Teeth Zone. keep floss picks by your bed

-dont tell your boss youre adhd/autism/depression/suicidal. dont trust your coworkers with that. you NEVER know how people will take it and its none of their business

-train your pets to go to the front door when they hear a fire alarm

-get regular oil changes

#would like to add: sandwiches. holy fuck sandwiches. trust me theyre really easy to make and theyre filling #just make a sandwich and throw that shit on the stovetop for like 5 minutes and you're all good #like the only reason i been eating recently #also ABSOLUTELY on the sleep stuff #i had to lose so much sleep a few months back that i was literally intoxicated. absolutely miserable #and the teeth stuff. trust me you do not want gingivitis or rotten teeth
