This year I’m shamelessly working on personal projects, pushing my character designs, and starting 2020 off living my best gay life. So, to celebrate, I spent my workday drawing on some mannequins to put this fellow trans lesbian in the florals she deserves.
The first draft of Cybergem was in 2009. This poor girl spent a whole literal decade in a polo and khakis and I swear I will do right by her and her cyborg friends from now on.

today I came up with a way better podcast name and had already changed the blog url before I thought to check and see if it was taken (it was)–so that was my morning. anyway, the WCC title is probably here for good.

Starting late is better than not starting at all, I guess. uvu The hardest part of this was picking a character (or even a story for that matter)–Momnar has so many great story concepts and wonderful casts within those stories that I could’ve made a good few drawings! But for now it’s just this scrappy badass. <3

My biggest achievement so far: figuring out how the hell Eric’s hair works.
If she's got sensors on her cheeks, why does she wear glasses?
Kat’s glasses don’t actually have lenses in them.
She takes them off to do anything important, but really she just likes how the frames look on her face. Also she doesn’t tend to use thermal imaging or nightvision in her normal daily routine.
Kat: “If you opted out the robot eyes that can glow like headlights then WHAT was the POINT?!”
Her actual eyes are only half of her optical input. The sensors on her cheekbones give her nightvision and thermal imaging because she wanted the stipend for trying out experimental BioMech. She got the flashlight option because it looks cool, dammit.
A note: She uses her flashlight eyes as part of her DM persona when she’s monologuing.
Happy Anniversary to the time I rushed into this darn thing!! It’s okay though I’ve learned a lot in the time since then and my pacing’s better for the break, so hopefully it’ll have been worth the years I was too overwhelmed by college stuff to do anything with these babes.

Guess who’s been getting some special attention lately
I saw the same beautiful woman five times while I was at work today over the course of three hours. What on earth was this actual fae creature doing wandering around in Wal-Mart for three hours?? I just hope she found her way back to whatever high-fantasy plane she originated from before she got lost in the great Wal-Mart liminal space between worlds.
Have some OCs representing both sides of my internal monologue every time I caught sight of those amazing bellbottom jeans and Rapunzel hair.
I hyperfocused on making the crew, Naseem, and Thompson as dnd characters last night. They’re pretty awesome. Thompson makes a terrifying Warlock. Sera has a giant owl mount. I look forward to the day I can do a mini comic about them.
