 I honestly don’t have much words to thank you for your trouble in helping me but know that I’ll make sure to make a good use of all the data collected and present a good thesis.

Account Restored

 After nearly 2 weeks, the Tumblr Staff finally decided to show some work done and answered my e-mail, giving me my account back.

 Yeah, I got my account suspended because two months ago I saved many URL’s that I still hadn’t had time to use and they ordered me to erase them. Funny thing, this doesn’t happened to those who have really good URL’s unused for years…I know because some of that url’s I’d love to have.

 Careful if you have many URL’s saved people..the Tumblr Staff can get picky and stupid with you too

 Let me explain to you why I’m so frustrated, annoyed and angry at the Tumblr Staff.

 The e-mail came on Tuesday, March 8th..I saw it one day later and did what was requested, all my UNUSED URL’s were sadly erased and I e-mailed them back as they requested informing them. No response.

 On the next day, I sent another e-mail….No response. On Thursday, I sent another e-mail…Nothing. On Tuesday, March 15th (a week later) I sent a new e-mail…Ignored again.

 On Friday night I stopped being nice and waiting, wrote an e-mail but this time I wasn’t just asking for my account back and saying I had done what they asked, I had to be more aggressive, basically threat them. Hours later I had an e-mail from the staff saying they wanted me to deleted all my side-blogs, which I only had my cyberstalkingthesis’s blog for my investigation. E-mailed them that, the explanation why I didn’t erased a very used blog I have since January 2016 that is so not unused….They e-mailed me back last night saying they had restored my account.

 It’s really sad to experience the incompetence of some Tumblr Staff members but I’ll still fulfill my threat to them on that last e-mail…seemed like it was the only way to get someone to reply to me and do something.

Reason why I wasn’t able to promote my investigation: Tumblr Staff don’t do their work for nearly two weeks and need to be threaten to actually answer someone :/

 I am so pissed because for two weeks I wasn’t able to send messages or write posts to promote my investigation...all because they seemed to not care to check that I had done what they asked the day after they e-mailed me :/

Update: “returning for good”

 It’s been a few days again but since I have good news and internet connection, it’s time for an update on where I’m standing and try to vision a “returning for good” date.

 My last update was a day before my grandma’s surgery and me moving to my grandparents to look after my grandfather while my grandma stayed at the hospital. From that day it was a rollercoaster…sort of..with really stressing moments, moments of relief, moments of false relief, etc etc etc. 

 I’ll explain it all under read more to not upset anyone or annoy but..trying to preview the “returning for good” date…I’m pointing out to end of next week…since things are working out and when my grandma gets home, I’ll return to my place and just visit her all the time and my mother is the one who will stay helping more. Let’s not give a day yet or an exact exact date..I don’t want bad thoughts but celebrating before the time doesn’t work well.

Thank you so so much for sharing my thesis

 I’ll thank in particular tomorrow to every single one of you that is reblogging and liking my Cyberstalking Thesis’ posts: I’d do that now but I’ve hit the daily limit of IM messages earlier from promoting it with my followers’ list at @dylenapt

 But I want to show now my deepest gratitute for that gesture because I wouldn’t be able to do my investigation without it!

 Last week with my tons of work at the internship and the problems with my laptop I wasn’t able to promote anything so I didn’t got many responses to the questionnaires and yesterday morning was kind of down because of it when I had to show the week results to my thesis’ advisor.

 After that conversation and getting a borrowed laptop, I was able to get in touch with a few more bloggers, tell them about my thesis and ask for their collaboration to share it and the result was fantastic!

 Right now, in this exact moment I only need more 204 answers to reach the minimum of responses required for the investigation to be considered a “real and serious one” in my workline, only that more to reach the min. of 500 questionnaires and that in 2 weeks [will be made tomorrow since I started collecting questionnaires on Wednesday, January 6th] is unbelievable.

 It’s incredible the power that people have with simple shares with friends and followers and I’m really really grateful for it, for helping me in bringing more light to a subject that unfortunately isn’t very studied or talked about but happens daily to millions of people all over the world, no matter your age, your gender, if you are in a relationship or not, everyone can be a victim of cyberstalking.

 My laptop died last week, idk if it was smth i did or if it was a virus but it died so I couldn’t promote anything these days!

 Will use a borrowed laptop for a few minutes to send requests to people to promote the thesis’ questionnaires and hope people get along with it!
