whenever a new mascot appears, [user] typically brings them in or finds them in their studio. some mascots have friends that intrude but are never truly malicious.
that is, until they arrive.
it makes a grand entrance by splitting the space inside [user]’s studio project itself. a terrifying rift that crackles with energy not from the minuscule plane of the third dimension. something far more brilliant and beyond, accompanied by lines of code that bleed into the world akin to a pathogen. subsequently forming a figure to contain its spiraled mess of code and distortion.
the first time they spoke directly to you, it was certain to send a shock if not a little fear. messages displayed as half a dozen pop up windows upon your screen. borderline threatening in nature, anomalous, and observing you closely with blazing red eyes.
< I’m coming for you. >
unfortunately, [user] has to confront them as soon as they arrived. not only is 1x a threat to the entire studio, but possibly your computer. The device’s fans kicking into overclock as typing and cursor movement begin to lag and rebound, making execution increasingly difficult.
1x not only came to conquer, but to challenge [user] itself. not only can it manipulate technology, it can also disrupt commands and overwrite certain [user] functions in roblox studio (anchoring, duplication, pause and play actions).
1x was sufficiently subdued by the combined efforts of shedletsky and [user]. they have a designated area in the studio where they cannot damage anything outside. their space is essentially a padded room.
-->
for once, this “mascot” has his own distinct sound. crackling static, the buzzing of electrical alerts, and the noise of error indications.
1x is best described (by shedletsky) as a dangerous cat. not that he doesn’t think it isn’t capable of real danger and damage, but because he claims 1x spends a lot of its time brooding and scheming to get what it wants (apart of this description may also just be shedletsky trying to say how he can totally handle 1x on his own--take that with a side of salt).
and to get what he wants, he’s willing to do whatever may be necessary. which includes having an ongoing on and off interest with [user].
somedays they will ask you questions about what you like, what you don’t. other days they will completely ignore your attempts at interaction and communications. they can be entirely unresponsive no matter how much you annoy them. on the rare occasion, it may leave popup window messages on or behind your opened tabs. often to remind you of something in the studio or a mild complaint. making it incredibly difficult to tell when 1x is being genuine or false.

regardless, it’s best to stay on their good side (which in itself is high maintenance). for a formidable being, 1x can be devout to a given task when they choose to be.
u guys seem to rlly like my self aware!Roblox interpretation…

thinking about [user]’s first encounter with the roblox mascot itself. this avatar standing so perfectly still, you might’ve mistaken it for an avatar test dummy at first glance (but you certainly don’t remember putting them here).
maybe you ignore the mascot for a little while, checking in on all the little things in your studio. the roblox mascot seems like a perfectly normal avatar dummy to you. that is, until you try to move them to a different area of the studio.
it teleported a few studs away from your cursor. hesitantly, you try again and they blip out of the way swiftly. this thing is fast, really fast. you aren’t able to move them until a certain admin wearing a construction hat enters the scene.
it’s here when builderman is able to properly introduce the two of you.

roblox is considered a helper bot that prioritizes work efficiency and professionalism. apparently they entered your studio after noticing builderman has been staying away from HQ (or admin prominent areas) for a while.
additionally, their expressiveness is typically set to a minimum. but that doesn’t mean it isn’t expressive at all. when they choose to be, roblox can be quite direct and critical (even if unintentional).
on another note, this helper bot is prohibited from lying to [user]s. you can tell when it is certain and when it is hesitant to answer, usually by commenting around a question.
interestingly, this mascot does not like being ignored. it will go out of its way to stay in your line of sight, even when you are focusing on something or someone else.
roblox won’t speak up on their own behalf unless it’s “work mandatory.” maybe with enough encouragement they can actually voice their thoughts more. outside of work related business, of course.

for a helper bot created to “help,” it’s a little curious if they actually enjoy being difficult with [user] specifically.
Whoa!!! Thank you, so much. I have a hard time expressing my emotions online and in real life, but I feel so happy I could cry. I hope to make more of corporate Builderman in the future since it's my most popular headcanon.
