Would you believe this project is finally done? 😩 I started this piece a year and a half ago, and we finally finished it yesterday!

Working around the existing piece, leaving pleanty of room for more art in the future, trying to avoid the knee and ditch as much as possible while wrapping it around the leg- a lot of learning was done from this piece, and I’m thankful for the experience it gave me- but I’m incredibly happy we’re done with it. Onto the next!

Top leg Is fresh color (6 months healed line work). Bottom leg Is almost 1 year color healed (1.5 years linework healed). I wanted to include the healed portion to show the full wrap around design, but also to include an example of how my work heals.

Done using KWADRON needles (7RL + 5RS), with Eternal Inks @ the Jade Monkey Studio.

Had a ton of fun poking this Nekrogoblikon tribute on Erik!

If you don’t know who Nekrogoblikon is, they’re a death metal band whos singer dresses as a full goblin (with the prosthetics and everything). The singer (Dave Rispoli, AKA- John Goblikon) told my client to get the singer thinking about my client tattooed.

My client tells the story better than I can. It’s probably one of my favorite “behind the piece” explanations I’ve gotten.
