So as a quick context these doodles stem from a RP server I’m in

Something I hadn’t realized that I’m definitely making canon to the server is the fact that Batter probably cant breathe too well with the fresh air (as fresh it can be, at least). He would certainly discover cigarettes and smoke regularly or almost constantly.

That or he’d eat them.

On another note he’s gonna learn how to fight with his fists since his bat just got absolutely destroyed. Would he still be able to use his competences without it?? Logistically he probably could but they wouldn’t be as effective since he’s punching shit (which he doesn’t normally do), and his purifying power comes from himself instead of the bat, evident by the fact you can switch it out during your run.

Puppeteer and Batter shenanigans

Trying to make a good puppeteer design is hard and omg is that possessive batter or something

Also the idea that the add ons turn into rings the Batter wears when out of combat is very appealing to me :)

Uhhhh ramblings beneath the cut

So when trying to design my version of the Puppeteer/Player/whatever I wanted to pull from this idea of angelic omnipotence. Maybe their form is perceived as some inhuman angelic thingy cause of Batter perception who knows

I was originally, gonna give them a cloak, since the design is heavily designed by how I draw the Watchers (life series gang rise up), but then I thought fuck it and now they’re just a gangly silly. Their fingers stretch very thinly to become the strings themselves, which they can weapon IVE in a hypothetical fight against the Batter.

Also also small detail but the Batter doesn’t wear a ring on his ring finger, he skips the finger. I like to think he was once involved with the Queen and Hugo (haha loving family at some point go brrrrr) but since he went on his sacred mission he’s never worn a ring on his ring finger cause marriage symbolism and whatever.

Also also also possessive batter? Hello? I know there’s at least twelve billion fics with this dynamic but I’m all for it.

Y'all went ham with that last poll holy moly OK, since there is clear interest in the server I'm already working on the basics for it (ie template, rp system, etc.) Here's another poll for the server's base concept. ALSO if you're interested in helping me build the server or moderating for it shoot me a DM :]

Basic RED vs BLU: RED and BLU duke it out on various maps with silly fun downtimes. Would probably be more combat oriented than anything but organizing team fights with everyone may be a pain. Classic experience, though, and doesn't have to be too serious. If there was an overarching plot it'd likely by Australium or Merasmus centered. Or some third original plot point.

Mann vs Machine: God I love MvM, multiple teams are forced to team up for the good of the world. This one will be a little more NPC involved, in a way, and would probably feature teams other than RED and BLU. Definitely more plot focused and moreso focused on intercharacter relationships.

EVERYONE'S HERE!!: A goofy multiverse crossover. Multiverse shenanigans, blame it on Merasmus. Alternatively it could be Gray Mann trying to take over other worlds which would also be more plot focused.

Some 4th AU: The ones above are the ones I like the most but one of yall might have a good one just comment it and we'll discuss.

1) Just a classic "o shit we gotta fight each other" maybe with an overarching Australium plot for gits and shiggles.

2) Mann VS Machine, teams forced to work together for the good of humanity or some shit.

3) Merasmus shenanigans brings a shit ton of mercenaries (and problems) to one place. Think classic team RED meets ocs meets serverblight meets emesis blue etc etc.
