i had a blast drawing this,, been wanting to try my hand at drawing traditional chinese wear for ages. did you know !!! 🤓☝️ that traditional chinese wear “hanfu”doesn’t refer to a single type of dress but is more of a blanket term for the general traditional style of dressing that the han chinese wore, identified by several representative types. a lot of garment pieces fall under the “hanfu” categorization, including the shoulder ornament (云肩 [yún jiān]) and skirt (马面裙 [mǎmiàn qún]) that miku’s wearing.

alright, might as well learn how to use tumblr too before i get too old that the learning curve starts whooping my ass. i dont know how many more social media platforms to-learn-and-start-from-scratch i got in me before i just give up and retreat to painting in caves.
