Moonlight Lovers - Vladimir episode 6 Total APs 14,430
The episode starts the night after the previous one, Eloise has a nightmare about the murderer and Vladimir wakes her up. She’s spent the whole day on a chair next to his bed. They didn’t sleep together, they just kissed. She also blushes at the thought that he is the first man she’s ever kissed (weirdly specific on the man part… makes you wander what happened at the orphanage, it was all female I think).
The episode is not really eventful, lots of conversations, the main point is that the vampires reunite to discuss about what to do with the murder. Ethan and Beliath want to take action. Ethan says doesn’t care about Eloise’s safety while Beliath does but he thinks that it’s better to act than wait. Vladimir, Aaron and Raphael want to wait and see what happens, especially because don’t want to put Eloise in danger. Ivan is neutral saying that he will be ok with whatever they decide.
In the end majority wins and they do nothing, but at the end of the episode Eloise wakes up in her own bed finding the murderer in the room with her. As soon as she cries out in panic he attacks her but runs away when the others enter the room. At this point they finally decide that it’s war.
The illustration is set before this attack, Eloise was in the library reading Pride and Prejudice which she had already read but she says it reminds her of her situation and thinks it’s set in the same time period as Vladimir’s times.
(Little digression: I was surprised because I thought Vlad was from the Victorian era, so 1840-1900 while P&P is set in the Georgian era, the one right before. But Vlad says something about been alive for 200 years, so maybe he was born in the Georgian era and then lived through the Victorian one.)
Anyway, he opens up a bit about his past and we find out that he’s always lived as a recluse because when he was human he was allergic to sunlight, and once he became a vampire he became also allergic to moonlight! How unlucky is this??? At that point he is not in the mood to talk anymore and wants to do other more pleasing stuff, so he just pushes her on the carpet, feeds and kisses her. The illustration is wrong, he’s not wearing the jacket in this scene and his hair are untied, why does BV always messes up the simplest things.
This episode was cute in many ways, not only we see Vladimir smiling all the time, being more affectionate and cute, we also see Beliath worrying about Vlad which was quite entertaining. He even said that he should’ve been the one hurt instead, he doesn’t like him but he cares 🥺
