This light novel is not too long, just around 150+ pages thin. It also has few pages with stunning artwork that shows the characters and scenes visually. The narrative is slow-burning, atmospheric and emotionally heavy focusing on loss, identity and terror of not letting go. Right now, I'm just waiting for the confirmation of second light novel but it hasn't been announced yet.

Great characters who are flawed, but you root for them. To call it a slice of life Space Odyssey would cheapen the depth of this manga's scope. Also, great use of comedy relief to pair with some of the more serious scenes. I feel like I grew a little as a person after reading.
