Are you proud of yourself or are you just arrogant ?

This year I dropped friends that let's say left a bitter taste in my mouth. Its not that they are bad people, more of they were bad friends. Recently this month, actually, just last week I caught word from another classmate and friend of mine that told me things they were saying. I'm never one to bad mouth a person, yet i do complain about some people's actions. So this came to me unprecedented when that mutual friend told me they were calling me too proud of my achievements and I always want to be on top.

Here's the thing about me, This year my First year of Senior High School/College Prep. Before this I was never in honor roll. Well I was in Elementary but I was never in the top 10. Always 13, going up to 6 or 7 then back down, while consistently falling out of honor roll in Junior High School. So Imagine that this year I'm able to reach top 2 of this school year. You'd be proud, no?

So to me, think of it like this. Others opinion don't matter, if you did something big or small as long as you achieved something, and you're not putting anyone down for their own achievements GO AHEAD! No one else is going to be proud of you, SO BE PROUD OF YOURSELF!!!
