Planning For 2016: A Resource Directory
In this post you will find a collection of free worksheets and other printables to help people plan for their blogging crafts and life in general. The list will be divided into two sections: intentional living and blogging.
Intentional Living: Printable worksheets, guides, calendars, and other organizational tools such as apps and planners
Blogging: Business and branding worksheets, font directories, and font hosts
Please respect their makers by not redistributing these worksheets as your own. All of these, save for some of the fonts, are entirely free for personal use. I hope you enjoy them! I’ll still probably be adding more links when I get the time to do so.

Hi there!
I wanna reblog this post made by a really good friend of mine, Micah, ‘cause it’s really worth reading or looking into. Especially for all those go-getters out there.
Have fun reading and exploring!
You guys! Sorry I’ve been pretty much MIA for the last few months. Been preparing this you see. It’s still on the works but I’ve decided to share ‘em all with you all already since I think it’d be better to have y’all on my side as I progress through this.
Feel free to hop on then to my brand new home, love! http://d-ture.com
I swear I finished writing mine yesterday. But then, life happens and I needed to study first for an exam (that wasn't pushed through in the end, thank God!) so here I am today, publishing my Friday's 10 Happy Things a wee bit late. Hehe!
1. Meeting le former UST Arki Family/Blockmates!
If there's one thing na I totally miss in UST, that'll be my blockmates. Actually, I miss having one. Mapua's constantly on the move so in just one crazy blink, everyone's like whooooosh gone again. Anyway, it was actually coincindental (sort of) since they were asked by one of their professors to visit Philippine Heritages within Metro Manila. And of course, it would be totally impossible for Intramuros not to make the list! My closest friend in the block, Eggy (don't tell her I used my nickname for her here hehehehe I'll be doomed I swear), called me around 12nn and apparently my class wasn't till 1:30 pa! Talk about luck. They were all so adorable. Meeting them felt like going back to a place I've called home for a while (which I totally had as one talaga). They're the kind of friends na you don't have to doubt your friendship with them. And since I've been having a lot of trouble with friendship kinda things, you'll know how much I treasure this group na.
2. Early bird Award goes to me!
Starting off Monday with a 5am strike has made my week one hella ride of 6am auto wake up time. It's so worth it tho. Gives me some time to doze off a bit more before I really wake up and yet, still not have to rush. (As oppose to my previous days wherein there's a lot of panicking, rushing and not being able to eat breakfast involved. *Children, do not copy pls.)
3. Finishing a group project of ours without totally procrastinating.
This sem's been filled with a LOT of group works. So, it's kinda hard to work with people lalo na if you have different ideals on the subject and the quality of work itself. Eh, since I'm a VERY Type A person, well you know how I could be errrr kinda be a control freak. Huhu. Don't blame me, I just want to finish everything in an instant and not deal with rushed work. (which is more often than not, a junk.) But thankfully, things are starting to go well! Even though we're near the end of the term na. HAHAHA
4. Siblings bond.
I have this video of us (me and my siblings) wherein I was introducing them to you guys. Sadly, it can't get uploaded awhile ago so maybe I'll try next time. :3 Anyway, it was so cute kasi we went to Mass ng kami lang and before that, it kinda seemed like a small bond since we were all making kulitan with each other and they were asking me to take a photo of them for their fb prof pics! Hahaha! I'm not that good but it's super cute when you know your sibs supports you all through out.
5. New glasses!
I lost my glasses in a funny way. I was riding the jeep. But since I've been quite tired that day, I kept on dozing off (Again, *Children, do not copy pls.) pero it was in a safer part since we came from the underground thing. And then you know that part wherein your head just suddenly decides to whoosh down and then in a snap you wake again? Well, mine went sidewards. And what's more is that I was at the end of the jeep! So I had to watch it get left behind and well, eventually crash. It was the longest one I had na lasted that long from the time I started college. Probably a year. Lol, anyway, I never knew na I'll be getting new glasses in so long. So I guess the world was telling me to buy a new one, so hurrah!
6. "This Heart of Mine was made to Travel the World" Papemelroti Notebook.
I've been eyeing this notebook ever since one of my hs bff told me na this particular notebook suits me so much. And I couldn't agree more! I love this one din so much 'cause ever since I've bought it, I've totally been writing again. More like a journal and a place where I've got my surreal drawings or concepts. Is it just me or I think the brown paper and blank pages really helps? Plus it's so lightweight na I don't have to bother thinking how much weight it'll be adding on my bag!
7. Beyonce's MTV VMA Performance 2014
Have I ever mentioned na I'm a fan of this rad Queen? I love her to bits. I like how her songs gears me up to that Confident Dyanne. I still do have my days tho. But I'll usually just listen to her songs and I'll be like Ha! Game on.
8. Singapore Relatives visiting us.
To be honest, I won't be able to see them since there's been some complications on my schedule and stuff. Needless to say, I still like to think na we breathe the same air. Especially since I'm quite more close to this family than my other relatives, so I'm just happy they're here. *smiles*
9. Self-love investment: Watching a Movie alone.
My first movie date with myself was last november, I think. So it was kinda due time for me to watch one once again since I wasn't in the mood to work outside in a café. There were just too many people kanina in gateway. I felt like I need some relaxation din, not more work stress. And so, after half a dozen times of wonderin' up and down Gateway and Farmer's Plaza, I finally decided to watch Pitch Perfect 2! It was supposed to be Jurassic Park at first since I'm totally curious. Also I wanted to thrill myself. Hehe. But since I needed some lightweight movie at the moment, I opted for the former.
10. Free Lrt Ride!
As I was going back to home, I was getting weird out by the fact that the lrt ticket booth was missing! I'm still trying to familiarize myself with landmarks so I totally didn't know. Thank God I heard from someone else na it's free. That's the only time my ears decided to register what the guard was saying: "Libre po ang sakay hanggang 7". I was super thrilled na it was so sakto! Also, I'm amazed by all the effort people are doing to celebrate Our Independence Day. Atleast through this things, I could see na our people are still very united deep down their very own hearts.
Well, that's it for my week! Pardon me for making this so long tho. I can't help gushing about them. Hehehehe. Excuse my kadaldalan.
P.S. This is a blog link-up btw! So if you’d love to join in this happy friday ride, simply click on the button below. ;)
I've decided to join the bandwagon. Yay!
1. Coffee shop date! I was there awhile ago. It was adorbs 'cause I was able to treat myself after a rough week.
2. Pixie Hair Compliments. I've been wonderfully showered this week with lots of love for my hair. A lot of people have been telling me na it suits me more since HAHAHAHA it shows more of my face. Audrey Hepburn-ish daw. *gets kilig all over the place*
3. Subic Adventure. My one and only beach escapade for the summer! I actually grew up from having almost all my summers being spent in the beach so they're very very close to my heart. It breaks my heart tuloy whenever I’m not able to go to the beach at least once during summer times. Blaming college for that. Lols.
4. Soulful friends. This week started out with me getting my heart hollowed out again but I thank God for giving me friends whom I could talk to at any given moment. Seeking out advice truly does help in making one's own decisions. Especially whenever we're too confused, lost and scared as shit.
5. Getting my Confidence back, alive and kickin'! I've been too detached from myself na so far. So I'm glad that I was able to get to know my own self once again and therefore getting that inner peace within my own self back. ;)
6. Dean Cinco and Miss Corinne. Dean Cinco is obviously our dean and he was so adorable kasi he himself taught me how to do the expense sheet for the papers for the upcoming event that the student council and .move (an org in our department) are organizing. I was so nervous 'cause c'mon it was our department's head and ohmyyyy. I dunno. I got lucky I guess. Haha! Miss Corinne, on the other hand, is one of my fave professors in Mapua and I was so surprised to see her in school after 6 months! I kinda missed her. Hehe. Kinda embarassing lang 'cause she got me on the spot just as the dean was teaching me. So I got stucked in between the two of them talking and laughing and all that. They were both so adorbs kasi they just joined me in their discussion! The dean was even explaining to me who the person that they’re talking about was at one point. To be honest, I was waiting to be kicked out of the room the whole while. They never did tho. :)
7. Fave bloggers commenting on le blog. I have these sets of bloggers that I regularly check out. (Aside from those I've bookmarked) And I got so kilig when one of them decided to comment on mine! Ahhhhhh, all those feelings. :"">
8. Aral kids. We actually have this Volunteer Group wherein we teach Catechism to kids every Saturdays. I'm not really that regular yet. But it was my first time to handle last weeks session in a firsthand manner. Usually, I'd simply be pitching in or supporting. This is why this week's experience was really something different.
9. Nica getting accepted as an intern for TBWA Advertising Agency. This isn't solely about me but I was soooo happy when I heard about this! Nica's my dormmate and I've been with her for like 3 years already. She's gonna have her ojt na and we had to endure waiting for people to accept her for so long. Just as she was about to accept a design furniture company's offer, TBWA finally called her! We all wanted TBWA for her since it's an actual Advertising Agency where she could learn a lot more than the other company could. I was just too happy when she told me that I can't help not including that moment here. Hehe.
10. Despicable Me 2. One of the people that I stay with in Manila celebrated her birthday and she wanted to watch this particular film! It was so cute to see this one again. Definitely stress-reliever movie.
Yay! I finally finished my happy thingies. A bit too late but ‘twas fun racking my brains out for positive happenings that has happened during the week. I’m also trying to be a bit more open here on my blog. So here’s to my first installment for that!
P.S. This is a blog link-up btw! So if you’d love to join in this happy friday ride, simply click on the button below. ;)

I finally had a major hair revamp! The last time that I had a short haircut was around 1 and a half years ago when I had a major transition from years of growing up as a long haired gal to a short bob gal. You may, or may not have seen that in my 2014 life capturing blogpost. But anyway after making my hair grow out, I just had a huge impulse to go and chop most of my hair again! And since I’m quite an ambassador of living in the moment, I had to stop the constant nagging that my inner wild spirit was makin’ inside my head. Aaaand, voila, the results were uh-mazing!
So probably the biggest question that’s running through your awesome mind right now is what the hell I was thinkin’. Besides the impulse thing, ‘cause of course there’s got to be a reason somewhere!
1. The amount of hair running along my back doesn’t seem to get along with my back anymore.
Wanna know what’s the BEST news I’ve ever heard in so long? Rainy season’s finally here!!! I can’t contain my happiness enough. I could smell the rain from up our 10th floor home. Let’s just hope it doesn’t flood that much this year. So yea, I know, kinda too late naman for me to be having a pixie cut when the summer season’s already over. But seriously, for the past few weeks, I’ve started to have enough dealings with the heat monster that thinking too much of getting a pixie cut was getting too much destructive. Like I could do more without having to think how cool and comfy and breezy it would feel when I get that cut. Add up the fact that my hair’s almost and always in a bun the past few weeks, it was obviously due time that I visit the salon once again.
2. School, work, sleep, school, work, sleep. Repeat. BORING.
I needed change ASAP. Like a 911 kinda bored illness. I mean, I know I do go here and there for something but I needed some major change or whatever. I’m not sure why but maybe it’s my never-ending love for freedom that’s pushing me through it. I could never settle anymore. I need progress, I need change. A super need to explore more of myself and of this world.
3. Traversing away from beauty standards.
Everyday, I’m seein’ people being mesmerized by that flawless long hair. Why does pretty have to mean having long hair? Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been loving them for almost my whole life. But I think it’s time we do appreciate the short haired girls. For bein’ fearless. For bein’ able to stand for themselves. For strayin’ away from the usual standards. Lol, isn’t it obvious that I’ve been having quite a heart for these brave women for quite a while now?
4. Less hair means more work done.
It’s been said a thousand times that us, girls, have our hair as our crowning glory. It’s something that’s precious and that truly defines how we look. With this said, I’ve noticed that I’ve been taking too much time deciding if I should tie my hair or live it as it is. Sometimes I’ll even put it down and up again and down again. I’ll even style it in countless ways that before I knew it, I was embarrassingly late for school. And since I’m a great advocate of balancing everything, I knew I had to stop this kind of routine. And what better way than to chop it all off. Ha! And even though it’s been vaguely two days since I had my hair chopped off, I think I’m doing a lot better! *winks*
All in all, I think it’s pretty clear that I’m head over heels with my current look. And the feedback so far is kinda like 9 out of 10 people are telling me that they like my new look. But that’s kinda like a small portion of people that I know pa lang since I haven’t posted about my new look. That sounds dramatic, haha!
So if you’ve been thinkin’ about getting a pixie cut, why not have one right away? A lot of strong-willed badass females have gotten themselves in this big leap of faith. And I tell you, they’re totally rockin’ it. And I’m sure you will too. *wink* *wink*
P.S. Last lil’ fact: I actually wanted to have a pixie cut last 2013 but apparently, my hairdresser at that time told me that I’d be looking really bad if he cuts my hair like that! Explains why I also had all those jitters and stuff right when I was at the door of the salon last wednesday. I even went out and back in again to prepare myself! *insert crying out of laughter emoticon here*
I'M SERIOUSLY WRITING THIS DOWN TODAY. Okay, that's just me prepping up myself to get over my overly-perfectionist state which has been looming down my whole being for like what? Three weeks now. A FUDGING NO-NO, obviously. But hey, here I am, so let’s get this inspired juices kickin'. winks
FUN FACT OF THE DAY: I'M SO IN LOVE WITH AIRPLANES!! I have no idea what spell they gave me but I feel like I'm on drugs the day I was able to ride an airplane. Alright, maybe not on drugs but I SWEAR on everything I could swear on that it was the best of all the best!
So what am I blabbering about, anyway? Well, last April 7 (omg, it's almost like one month na! gasps), I was finally able to ride an airplane! As in it was like my first time. I know, I'm like 19 already and yet it's my first time pa lang. I feel like a rare specie for people in the internet. Somehow though, I feel ultimately blessed for having this opportunity 'cause at some point, we'd all realize that not everyone is able to have that chance to ride one either anyway.
If you ask me how my first time was, I'd probably summarize it as a roller coaster ride. No, not to define the ride itself but to define how I felt at every moment. First off, my brother had his graduation before my flight so we had to rush from Laguna at around 12nn to catch my 2:55pm flight. The thing is, I had to be there as in 2 hrs before so I was both like oh my it's okay and oh my I'm soooo gonna miss my flight. But then priorities, so of course, I wouldn't miss my brother's graduation for anything in the world! Actually, I almost missed this chance to ride an airplane 'cause of this reason. Apparently, we were able to work it out so, wowzah!
We got there around 1:30, I think? We were even among the first ones in our group! Talk about luck!
The others were so late na so Ate Kat and I had to go ahead so we won't miss the flight. Imagine our surprise when we saw them on the other side of the counter, eh? And imagine our surprise again when the lady told us that we've already been bunked off!
Good thing was that the lady was kind enough to give us free flights (which I never understood how to use. Bummer, I know.) and transfer us to Philippine Airlines. From Cebu Pacific to Philippine Airlines! Of course, at that time, I never really cared 'cause I have no idea what their differences are. All I know is that I. Had. To. Ride. An. Airplane. or else the whole outreach would be a goner for me.
Luckily, that wasn't the deal! So off we went to ride another airplane at another airline which turned out to be a LOT better but I couldn't complain 'cause I liked both rides naman. (We rode on Cebu Pac on the way home.)
Philippine Airlines didn't have as much passengers than Cebu Pac so we were able to occupy those three seats at one side of the row at the back. And of course, I was like, HA! PERFECT. Who wouldn't think that way, anyway? Especially for a first timer like me!
Here's me actually drawing the clouds! I'm not sure why but I think this artsy life has embedded itself way too deep than I could imagine since I've never imagined myself drawing in the middle of an airplane ride! But I felt like doing it, so tada! Thankfully, I always have this small black notebook that I carry everywhere for spontaneous ideas and drawing cravings like this.
All in all, I think I was perfectly LUCKY. I wanna share though, a collection of my thoughts that I've accumulated during the ride (in short, just some random outburst of poetry-ish words that just came spilling out from my awed self):
It was like the prettiest thing that I've ever seen;
A kingdom of its own,
An ice cold sea in the middle of the earth.
And here I am trying to grasp its beauty
Through pictures and words.
But I know I can't,
So I’ll settle for my own creations.
And now we're flying, Flying down amongst these clouds.
This might've been my first real flight with this wonderful new world,
But I promise that I'll soon live amongst the magnificence of these clouds.
It isn't much but they're just some thoughts of mine about the whole trip! I absolutely have no idea how to blog "informative" adventure articles but I hope this one's all right for now. I just had to get it out there or else I'll forever be inside the creative black hole.
So that's it for my first blogpost for my Leyte Outreach Experience Series. Watch out for the next ones!
Oh, and I'm a lil' curious tho. Do you guys still remember how was your first airplane rides? How was it for you? Do you still feel the same way every time you ride it once again? This are legit questions, love! I'm seriously curious! Do share 'em below! Or maybe you could write it in a blogpost but please do tag me so I could read and share it along! :D

I really don't know how I could stress out all the magnifying forces within me to tell you how much YOU should probably not miss Woman, Create. I mean, I'm already at a loss at not having the chance to go to this awesome gathering. And hey, I wouldn't want you to miss it either!
So basically, Woman, Create's main theme is for you to find and design that Wonder Woman in you. So while you'll probably learn the in's and out's of how in the world you'd be able to do that through the event itself, I'll be sharing with you, on the other hand, the reasons why I truly believe that every lady has that Super Woman within theirselves. Especially you, love.
Let me share these secrets then:
1. You know in your deepest guts that you could make shooting stars kinda things happen.
You’ve been feeling it all this while. You know in yourself that if you’d be able to make it happen, everyone else would just probably look at you with nothing but awe.
2. There's a fire in your belly each time you get rad stuffs done.
Ticking off the list even just a simple task in one of a thousand you’ve written for today, makes you go “ha! I did it!”. Then off you go, finishing the next one.
3. Super Women who've been there, done that are like your own spirit animals.
You’ve seen them all. Madonna, Beyonce, Audrey Hepburn, Emma Watson, Emma Stone. You just know deep in those sparkling bones that they’re the ones you’re meant to be.
4. You've always believed that you've got one in you.
It’s not that you want to boast about it but you know there’s someone inside you who’s so much more of what people see you as at the moment.
5. You've just been waiting for the right time when that Super Woman in you would finally release its unfailing magnificence.
But you know the time has nearly come.
If you've ticked off at least one or all of this things, well, welcome aboard mate! I told you, you’ve got it!
So shall I see you release that Super Woman in you finally? But hey, I swear the Woman, Create event would help. But if you want a few more reasons, well then, hop on to Stay Super to know those 5 reasons why you should totally go. *winks*
What will happen in the actual event, you say?
It’ll be an arts and fashion pop-up gathering wherein you’ll finally able to learn fresh art techniques an empowerment through these Wonder Woman’s of today: Sofia Cope, Kay Aranzanso, Marla Miniano, http://blog.maweeborromeo.com/ and The Better Story Project!
It will also be featuring music performances by Reese & Vica, BP Valenzuela, Aia de Leon, Toni B, TheSunManager and Kai Honasan. There’ll also be exhibits featuring Jamie Catt, Raine Sarmiento, Reese Lansangan, Sofia Cope and Luxe Calip’s art pieces.
Oh, and here’s a plus! The place isn’t actually that too unfamiliar for you to get hassled and stuff! It’ll just be in Top Shelf, Fully Booked, BGC, Fort. Not bad!
So will you take on this chance? Well then, better sign up now. ;)
I’ve been tagged once again by these two lovely ladies, laurelmusical and cydneyconquerslife! Thank you, dearies. <3
Now let’s divulge on the tags they tagged me with, shall we? ;)

Le Rules: 1. Thank the person who nominated you and leave a link to their blog. 2. Nominate 11 bloggers to receive this award. 3. Answer the 11 questions from the blog who nominated you. 4. Give your readers 11 random facts about yourself. 5. Give 11 questions for those you nominate.
Mon Answers:
• When did you start blogging?
I started blogging at around 2nd year high school. Not sure though how I came across in making one but I didn't have the spirit to consistently update my blog. So eventually I just started blogging again halfway through last year. In which all I did at first was to constantly hop around the blogosphere until finally I started to discover myself through all those big changes, both in my personal and blogging life.
• How old were you when you decided to start a blog?
Around 14 or 15, I think? But if we're talking about the real thing, hmmm… that would just be around last year. So, at 18. :)
• Who was the first artist you saw performing live or in concert?
I'm not gonna lie. I've never been to a concert. BUT I do believe that an artist could just about be anyone who portrays creativity through their own unique terms. I therefore conclude that it's actually my own mother who had lovingly hummed to me different classical music (and sometimes her own lullaby) when I was a tiny little fragile being.
• Is there a piece of jewelry you wear everyday and what is the reason behind it?
WHAT: It's my earrings. But no I don't wear it in the "normal" way (or probably what most people deem as normal). I wear them like a ring on two of my fingers. WHY: I dunno. Probably 'cause I've always wanted rings as a child (aside from necklaces, it's my next favorite kind of jewelry!). But given the fact that I'm petite so yeah. On the other hand, I think it's also a silent shout of art saying I could never be just another pair of "earrings".
• What was the last link you opened?
The Nectar Collective! One of my most loved blogs.
• What is number one on your wishlist at the moment?
Time.
• What is your favourite book?
Allegiant! To be honest, I was practically astounded at how Veronica Roth was able to place my whole self in Tris.
• What is your resolution this year and have you broken it already?
Hm. I didn’t totally write any resolution except a handful of goals from here and there. What I believe in the most though is that our goals should always be flexible. I don’t bag myself as a failure for not having achieved my goals accurately. But I’m proud that I’ve manifested them in various ways.
• Are you a handbag or shoe person?
Definitely a shoe person!!! *coughs* boots pls *coughs*
• What is your favourite quotation?
"Believe in yourself." It's a quotation that I've always lived by to motivate myself since I was a grader. A basic principle that has brought me to greater heights. although I still do struggle in living it, I breathe like it often.
• Who is your favourite member of One Direction? I am secretly judging you.
Oh no dear, I'm not really a fan of theirs. But I like Zayn Malik the most. And yes, I still do consider him part of the band. As one of the choices for this question, at least. Hehe.

Dear Me; tagged by Ate Cydney
My dearest Dyanne,
TRUST. The word that probably makes you squirm a bit every time you hear or read. LOVE. The word that you no longer believe defines anything substantial. The words that make you lose your grip as you type on the keyboard, the words that you've lost the right words from the dictionary to define for.
Every time you look far into the horizons through your window, I see your eyes quench in thirst as they pour down the last water droplets from your huge heart's jug. It's a scene known by no one but your mind; the mind that sees through these gigantic blocks of marbles you've created in you. Your marbles fascinate a lot of people , I know. But haven't I told you that your deepest soul is made of diamonds?
I want you to bomb those walls with trust and love. But I don't want you to bomb it with foreign bombs. I want you to bomb it with your own. I want you to understand the strength that your own bomb feels. I want you to see the magnificence that your own bomb beholds.
So shed forth, my love. Burst those marble walls with your bombs and find the treasure you've always held within.
From your diamond self,
Dyanne

It's APRIL. One. Two. Three. Four? FOUR freakin' months has passed?! Oh no, wait. Imeant three. I wanted to put four 'cause it sounded much better that way.*insert guilty bashful face here*
Honestly, our vacation just started so as a matter of fact, this should probably be thetime when my little house would be filled with my perfume-lovable voice. BUUUUTI think it's time I update my dear ol' chap. And what could be the most perfectway but to finally share about what awesome things are making me go crazy with excitement for april already!
1. Leyte 2015 Outreach
I have never ridden an airplane before. So imagine my surprise when my dad finally allowed me to go to this outreach! I swear I'm getting all the jitters (both due to excitement and nervousness) already, just thinkin' about it.
So, what's with this outreach anyway? To be honest, I've always been going to outreaches and stuffs like those ever since I started college. They’re mostly associated with Iraya Study Center, a center of leadership for female university students that gives us the opportunity to be included in those kinda things since they help us turn into mature and responsible leaders through starting with ourselves and unto others. But of course, that would be for another day's discussion. *winks*
Here's a list of facts about what we would be doing in this outreach:
And that's about it! Well, at least for now. Mind you, I had to keep my squiggling little hands to type more about what excites me on this grand new adventure I'm about to have. But I'm afraid I'll have to break it into pieces unless ya'll want a never ending post right here and now. Woops!
2. Woman, Create
I have news!!! Around the start of March I was blissfully accepted by the ever so rad queen Sofia Cope to be part of her amazing Queenterns! And when I was finally able to meet her as well as the others? Oh boy, I instantly knew that I’m in for one heck of a ride. I can’t help but squeal with delight deep inside to have finally come across these people who are all so much in sync with how my typical mind goes! We were all, as Sofia has coined, having this idea-sexting session which I tell you, you must try with among your own squads. And well, as Socrates has once said,
“Strong minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, weak minds discuss people.”
So anyway, what’s that got to do with Woman, Create huh? Well eventually, Sofia Cope tagged us on this movement they were having in instagram wherein they asked us, “Why empower Women?” It basically aims to gather and empower young women so we could all once again find the Wonder Woman within us through art, creativity and fun discourse.
To heighten up the main event, they made a prelude event to give a little sneak peek on what would be happening on April 11. Here’s some snippets of what happened on the prelude event from last March 28:
Oh, and did you know, this Woman, Create also aims to fund the operation of a fellow woman who has endometriosis cyst as well as to support another women-related NGO?
Well then, I could fully conclude that this would be another great event to attend to. Unfortunately for me, it coincides with the Leyte Outreach but I do recommend that y’all attend this one. ‘Cause what great event would it be to gather with people who twirls their constellations the same way that you do, right?
More on this in an upcoming post! But do remember to save April 11 for their main event!
3. A little D-ture Twist
I'm happy to say that I’m finally cooking up a lot more interesting spices for this little corner of ours! Yes, ours since I mainly focus on giving tips, ideas, insights and lessons in this blog through my experiences; Things that you may have noticed appearing in most of my posts. This I’m afraid, I would’ve to keep to myself for now until a definite time since I don’t want y’all to be expecting too much. But more posts and tips and places shall sure be coming your way. Mostly about creativity, ideas, vintage, places to study and whatever else that comes through my busy mind.
And that’s generally everything! I cannot be more excited for this busy month as it already is! Avril mon amour, let’s whisk it away!

P.S. Donations are still welcome for the upcoming outreach, by the way! Click here to know more details on how and how much (even a little amount could mean so much here, I swear) you could contribute for the said project.
P.P.S. Don’t forget to like the Woman, Create page to know more about the event!
Woah.Woah. Hold down your horses! I'm not crackin' up and losin' all my grammarintelligence, all right? I'm simply defining what sharing actually is for me.And yes, it's my happy place.
How so?Well, let's start with this simple fact: I was born with a heart that grows and glows every time a part of it is given away. Kinda weird, I know. But I swear with all the universe intact that it's true. Maybe I got it from my dad who actually paid everything in my mom's college tuition expenses. Maybe it started with me not being able to fathom human injustices and such from such an early age. Maybe I just suddenly popped up a sharing bone somewhere. Who knows?
What I'm sure is that there's a different kind of light-heartedness that I feel every time I see people smiling because of how I was able to share something of me each and every time. May it be my knowledge through teaching, things through donating, or time through simple helping gestures. And this is why sharing is actually important to me. It's the fact that I know for sure that I've been able to make a change in someone else' s life even through the simplest act that I could possibly give to people who in dire need of them.
So why am I being all goofy about sharing anyway? Just a few weeks back, a cause called Share Movement actually opened their cause to people who would like to join and be a part of it. Upon seeing those words in instagram was like the stars colliding for me! I've totally been following this cause since the moment I came across them through twitter since I love everything from their why's to their actual outputs. I then applied to be a Writer and an Assistant Event Coordinator since these are the things that are totally closest to my heart.
And voila, imagine me and my high-pitch thrilled voice when I saw this:
Totally amaaaazing right? Well then, let's go to the usual part of introducing what exactly this cause is actually about.
"Share Movement is actually a community of dreamers who offer different opportunities wherein they share their talents, passion, time, energy and resources through giving workshops in order to help another great cause of donating the money earned (either monetary or not) to people who are in great need of these. "
So why was I so stoked to actually be a part of this cause?
1. It hit me off right from the word "dreamer".
If dreamer was a celebrity, I'd probably be her number one fan. I am, as my friends have always told me that they’ve sensed in me, a dreamer right from my veins to the ends of my hair. I live and breathe dreaming for both myself and for the others. Although my dreams for myself are actually rooted in inspiring others to get out there and be their greatest rad self. So…
2. Sharing is my ultimate passion.
Sharing and Inspiring. These are the two things that would maybe sum up my motivational factors in life. I share my adventures in life to inspire others to do the same since I know that this world will actually be a better place once everyone is striving to be the greatest that they can be. A long shot, I know. But at least, I know I'll be affecting at least 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000001% of the world's population. I hope.
3. I have a soft spot for the populace.
I grew up as a proud probinsyana. Not a real legit one since our place continues to prosper at every freakin' minute. But enough that I know about its sweet air and gentle breeze. Since I was raised with knowing what poverty feels like at the same time being well-enough that I still get to eat 3 meals a day, I have grown quite an understanding for the people who are running across the poverty line.
In the end, I think helping other people in need truly is a must. It’s not that it’s our responsibility to do just that because of whatever-problem-of-our-country-that-you-may-insert-here but because it makes us happy. It makes us whole to see our fellow countrymen prosper the way we do. It makes living a lot more worthwhile to see yourself make even a tiny bit of legacy in making a difference in someone else’s lives. And I swear there’s nothing else that would make you feel more ecstatic after seeing the smile that you know you yourself have brought upon this other person you’ve helped with all you got.
P.S. Share Movement is still open for contributors! Click here if you've got that amazing balls to jump on the oppurtunity of a lifetime to share your talents and help other people! Take note, there are various of positions to apply for from photographer to letterer to event coordinator assistant. So feel free to join the team and help us change the world (even for a tad lil' bit at a time) :D
What do you do when you come across a warehouse sale? Of course, divulge yourself!! I gladly had this wonderful opportunity last week upon coming across a National Bookstore Warehouse Sale in SM Manila. To be honest, any science, business or accountancy student could have their own party with all the good purchases that could be made in that sale. But lucky me and my adventure taste buds that I still went on lookin' for any good finds that could be seen in the area. And, oh boy! Did I really get some good -no, GREAT- finds.
For the last few days that I was able to go through these items, I was able to realize on why everyone should probably start thrift shopping.
1. Obviously, it's MONEY WISE.
Here's a rundown of what I found amidst all the chaos (yes, I call it chaos cause more often than not, thrift shopping truly is, what with all the jumbled up stuffs, eek!):
THE GREAT GATSBY by F. Scott Fitzegerald------------------------Php100.00
STRATEGIES OF A CHAMPION ENTREPRENEUR by Paulo M. Tibig---Php20.00
LEATHER FRAME------------------------------------------------Php20.00
PAULO COELHO TRANSFORMATION DAY PLANNER 2013----------Php100.00
Basically, I purchased them due to different reasons. But I seriously had a plan on each of them, which brings us to number two.
2. Your creative juices gets some kickin' up in the butt to get movin'.
Probably by now, your minds might be screamin' WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD SHE BUY A LEATHER FRAME FOR? or something. Funny, I know. But here's the deal. With thrift shopping, YOU can do anything.
What do I mean by that? Simple. This Leather Frame that I bought? I used it to be a Notes Planner. Everything I have to do and buy, I stick it on this little one. And off we go! And here's a plus, it's so lightweight that I don't have to think about how its so bothersome to bring it or how it might get crushed if it was just a small notepad.
So you see, everything goes a long way. From a 20pesos Leather Frame, I now use it in a more functional matter. And I think whatever small idea you have, get it out. It might be the rainbow you've always been waiting for to sprout from the ground. What's more, it might even have a pot of gold at the end of it. *winks*
3. A tree gets saved, for real. Like finally.
Or maybe not just a tree. Maybe a soil or air or something. I don't want to discuss how it could ever connect to soil or air or anything else but we all know that everything's connected. Like if there were fewer print houses, then there would have been more richer soil, more healthy trees, more breathable point.
Blah, you get my point. In this case, by using the unused products that have been lying down the area for quite some time, I'm fully confident that it would help our little town, our little country, our little world, our little galaxy in making it a more nature-friendly place.
4. If we'll size up your confidence level, it would probably get three to four times bigger by now.
This is by no means to feed your profoundness level but by any case, it's just a lil' bit of having more belief and trust in yourself through the art of thrift shopping.
How so? Well, simply think about the fact how amazed you are in being able to manage your money well, buy something productive, recreate it to something more creative, and help in making this world a better place. What more would another person feel upon seeing so? They would be inspired to do so as well.
Been there, done that. But don't worry that you might get fed up with it so much that you'll eventually be too proud. It helps to be a lil' proud of your work at times.
So, that's about it. I hope this one got that little nudging in your head to act up. 'Cause thrift shopping is actually wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy much more fun than just looking at random branded clothes and saying bye to to much of your money. (Although of course, I myself tend to still buy branded clothes at times. What. I'm human. But you get me.)
So see you at the next thrift shopping bazaar or something, orayt? *winks*
P.S. Oh, and also, (as I almost forgot to mention, hehe) I made the Paulo Coelho Day Planner 2013 a personal journal wherein each day, I challenge myself to write something of substance. Basically, challenging myself to make the most of each day, to make each day an adventure.
Turned 19 yesterday!! *gasps* I actually already have been hyping up my mind in turning 19 for the last week that whenever people asked me what my age was, I kept saying 19. Hehe.
To be quite frank, I'm not sure what to expect in being 19. It's typically the year between the grand debut celebration and the year you turn into an actual young adult and away from your teen years. Both are great years, but being nineteen seems to simply just be a mid-year and nothing more.
Nevertheless, it's never good to expect. So I'm great with not expecting anything grand for this year. But just a simple year with loads of goals and dreams to achieve. In short, my typical ordinary dream big - achieve big kinda year.
I'd like to say goodbye to my 18th year as well tho. A year full of change, full of challenges, full of surprises. It was a year that everyone got intrigued as to what has happened to me. Why I've changed courses? Did I lose my mind? Am I not the girl they knew before? The one who was simply a follow the rules as said? The one who never contests the standards? The one they've all expected me to be?
Sad to say (for them at least), I'll never be who they would want me to be. I'm a box full of surprises. I'm a tree on the ocean. I'm a star on the grass. I'm a diamond on the cake.
But I'm happy. I'm happy to finally be true. A true form that despite it saying fudge you all, I don't care what you say about me, an inner caring and loving nature still lives in its depths. The reason why I can't last long with getting mad or irritated with anybody. The reason why I still believe in the word of progress and balance in one's own personal well-being.
Yesterday my lil' cousin asked, "Bakit biglang ang blooming mo na?". Upon hearing this, my ears perked up; proud of how I've finally been able to portray to others the happiness that one could gain upon following their real dreams despite the challenges and hardships.
And so I told her. Told her I was happy that I'm now following the path my heart have always longed for. An overflowing happiness that can't help but depict its self even in my physical appearance.
But I think I owe it all to God. He have let me see the path that had led me here and I'll forever be grateful to him.
Now, as another year starts for me, I'm thinking of doing better. If 2015 for me is ADVENTURE, my 19th year would be PROGRESS. This year, I'd like to grow. Grow to the fullness of my being. In my craft, career, family, spirituality, financially and everything else.
This year would be a preparation for the time that I would be fully setting foot to adulthood. A time wherein, I would be taking more responsibilities in this wonderful life that has been given to me.
I may have had countless almost death experiences that no person could have ever fathom of, but I believe that this life is meant for something. Something that involves serving the others. Something that we both have yet to discover.
So cheers to this world of discovery, cheers to the year that I would grow, cheers to being nineteen. Another year to grow more fierce and fab. *winks*
